| Hi there, I just have some thoughts on why Peter is going to help the Irish gangsters, and it's not just to get his personal belonings back ... I am almost completely sure that Peter has absorbed Niki/Jessica's power at the end of last season. This would mean that he also has the split personality thing (sorry, haven't got a better word for it) Maybe the part that woke up in the container without iPods is his 'semi-evil' alter-ego. Maybe thats also why his hair is different ... just a thought. Please let me know if there is anything that makes my ideas total nonsense, or maybe I'm right for a change :P

| I don't think the split personality was part of Niki's power. Her only power was super strength which Jessica was better at using. Niki did show that she had super strength when she was in prison, but that was when she was very upset. So I think Jessica was just a way for her to use her power, kinda like how originally Isaac needed drugs in order to paint the future. |

| I still like my original theory the best - guess they could still go that way if they wanted to but it would take some work. I originally thought that maybe Nikki could have actually physically split into the two seperate entities - even bilocate once she mastered her abilities. That would be a much better power than Multiple Personality Disorder LOL But yes I agree the superstrength seemed to be more the underlying ability than her alter-ego. As far as Peter - no I don't think he's gone Schizophrenic (sp?) - But I think that he is suffering a form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that made him blank out. Also he was always kind of on the edge between good and evil - It wouldn't be a stretch to see him walk on the dark side for a bit. Wouldn't that be a flip if Peter became evil and Sylar was suddenly on the good side? From the previews it seems Sylar may be suffering a similar memory loss?

| reasons: 1 peter saying he wanted to kill the familys brother 2 hiros father not expecting the killer to be him this allows peter to become evil use his powers of time travel to come back and kill them, not be there because he can heal himself, disappear quickly from the scene. then seeing peters arm after the tatoo foreshadowing that peter is the one using the mark Only one reason why would he want to kill them and why would he come back in time to do it instead of the time when he would want to. Or Peters not the bad guy at all and he is just trying to prevent what is going to happen. the OLD heros as in the stuff we dont know miss peterilli, kaito nakamura, and those guys they have a big plan to take over the world |

| i highly doubt it was peter, i don't know... it would suck if they couldn't explain it well. plus peter has so many cool ways to kill people, why jump off a building? |

| I think they're definitely setting it up to be Peter as a Bad Guy - but these setups could just be a red herring to throw us off. But we know that Peter is suffering from time lose and memory loss, and those are the same things that Nikki sufferred from when "evil" jessica took over. Plus last night showed the "mark" appear on Peter (which Jessica also had). Plus Peter is the only character we know of that could have absorbed all the powers necessary to do those "bad" things: 1. teleportation to and from NYC 2. plummetting of the building and not being hurt 3. being "invisible" during the attack on his mom 4. being able to walk thru the walls of the jail cell (from DL) And then there's this: at the end of Season 1, the little girl said that she didn't like to think about "that" man, because whenever she concentrated on him, he could "see" her. I think that if she was focusing on Peter Petrelli, maybe she makes a "connection" between them - thru which he inadvertantly absorbs her power, that's why he ends up "seeing" her i think. ?? |

| I agree - I highly doubt that Peter is the main bad guy this season - though he does seem to be walking that line between good and evil. It wouldn't make sense that he is the "one worse than sylar" who can "see me if I think about him" - it also wouldn't make sense that he's killing the older generation of heroes when Hiro's dad clearly stated it was one of their group (meaning the older generation of heroes).

| personally, i don't think it was peter or kensai, which is another widespread annoyance plaguing these forums. from what we've seen, repeating powers are not indicative of a shared gene pool. the fact that people are chasing a sign as commonly placed and explained as the helix shakes my faith in this forum as a sounding board for theories. |

If his amnesia is Nikki-style, then that would mean the Peter we are seeing now is the "Nikki" Peter, and the one we saw all last year was the "Jessica" Peter. I don't buy it. Remember Jessica knew what Nikki was up to, just not the other way 'round. | |||
