| Maybe it was just a matter of circumstances. If Sylar killed Claire, maybe non of this would have happened (I mean the big event on the season finale). And ofcourse he would be immortal (in some way). |

| Also if Peter didn't get the power to heal Sylar would have killed him. |

| I think it's just that if Sylar got Claire's power he would have been unstoppable. Although I'm not sure what that has to do with the whole bomb thing because even he was in shock about the possibility of himself blowing up and killing all those people. |

| The reason Hiro went back to the past to tell Peter to save the Cheerleader was because when he stabbed Sylar he regenerated and I believe Hiro thought that Sylar was the bomb so he thought that if he was able to be killed the world would be saved...

| Shan's slave girl! ![]() | Yeah it was important to save Claire, at least for this part of the chapter. The reason future Hiro said it like that "save the cheerleader, save the world" was because "his world" turned to that awfull future, so they in fact did save the world from *that* future. IMO that perticular mission in complete. Now we'll have new villains, new problems, new heroes, new powers, and a whole new world to be saved. But I'm also sure they'll pick a new tag line

| The way I see it is that Hiro came to Peter from a future where Claire was killed by Sylar, so he thought that if they saved Claire, Sylar wouldn't be able to regenerate and he'd be able to stab him before he explodes. But what Hiro didn't know is that Nathan lied about who exploded. It wasn't Sylar they needed to save the world from, it was Peter. The future we saw in 'Five Years Gone' was they saved Claire, but failed to save the world. But it looks like Claire was able to talk sense into Nathan and they were able to save the world. But Sylar is still alive... |

| Everyone's theories seem relevant as I've wondered about this too. But I am thinking that Claire's part in all this is not over.....guess we'll find out soon! ![]() |
