No, it was just Sylar. :P He used his TK to levitate and he probably uses
it to heal himself too. He also seems to have really high vitality which is

Hi guys, I'm new and thought I'd come and post a few theories.

So> Theres obviously an other, older group of people consisting of at least Hiros father and Nathan and Peters mother, and possibly including Nathan and Peters father and Simones father (both thought dead), maybe even Linderman? And whoever is threatening to kill people by putting Helix's over their photos. Do we think maybe the person threatening to kill people is the person worse than Sylar? Or that the group of older people are maybe aware of him?

Also> I think the person worse than Sylar might have had contact with Sylar in the past. During Sylars most touch-and-go moments cockroaches tend to appear, I think this could be the person worse than Sylars calling card, of sorts.

Well, you can do it the easy way and say it was just Sylar, but why take away all the fun? ^^

Besides many things point at it not being Sylar. Look just after parkaman and his partner hears Molly scream, when they run down to her in episode 3 (around 23 mins in). Parkman goes down to her, and she says something like "how could he find me?"

She knows in episode 23 that Sylar can't find her, but the person "worse than Sylar" can. So that also leads me to thinking it's not Sylar. And using teleknesis to fly/teleport away and to heal urself seems a bit too much imo.

Also Parkman sees an officer hanging up in the ceiling with a table, very similar to what had been done with Mollys mother in episode 2.

I'm thinking Sylar works together with the person in the baseball cap. (Since Mollys father had his head sawn off= Sylars mark)
The guy in the baseball cap is also seen in the coffeehouse with Ando and Hiro just before the waitress gets killed, but that is Sylars work too. So that leads me even more to thinking they work together (if it isn't sylar himself)

Please tell me what you think about it

the guy in the baseball cap is sylar, they do shots of his face... unless this baddie you're thinking of also has the ability of bearing an uncanny resemblance to established characters i think it's a pretty good bet that it's none other than good ol' gabe. i'm all about the uluru theory. i remember back when i missed a few of the beginning episodes i went on nbc.com to catch up and they were pretty big into revealing this beastly character. he's evil. makes sylar look like shirley temple. i think people are reading to far in to the wrong parts of what molly said. yes, he can see her but if the haitian sees her why is that bad? why would that make him worse than the man who killed her parents? he has to be able to reflect her ability as well as scare the bejeezus out of her. uluru.

No, it's definately Sylar that Parkman shoots. He was just being played by a stuntman because Zachary Quinto wasn't cast until episode 8 when he appears at the coffee shop and kills Charlie. I guess he threw up a telekinetic shield around himself just in time but the force of the bullets still knocked him off his feet. Telekinesis can explain how he's able to float back to his feet and then disappear up into the darkness above him.

I suppose its technically possible for Sylar to heal himself by telekinetically sealing his wounds, perhaps even the internal injuries caused by bullets or Hiro's sword. That would require both the ability to see those injuries and have enough medical knowledge to not damage himself even more in the process, though with his perfect memory thanks to Charlie that's not entirely out of the question.

i didn't know that part about the casting, but it kind of stands to reason. it seems like the whole getting shot, standing up and flying away thing was to add to the illusion that he was this powerful, inhuman monster. the first few episodes painted him out as a lot more powerful and evil than he turned out to be once he became a regular character. of course, it makes sense in a way that he was more effective when he was picking off the people that lacked the strength of the group. going after claire was really the beginning of the end for him.

what power do you think molly's dad had? he had his skull removed, so me must have had a power. it'd be funny if he was the one with the freezing power cuz that'd mean that sylar scalped him, learned his power then used it on his corpse. did i say funny? i meant sadistic.

Well, if it was a way to show that he was very powerful, it could be true. But I still don't tihnk it's Sylar

(personally).

I'm still stuck at what Molly is saying, it's a clue from the developers!

She says very clearly that Sylar can NOT see her using her powers, and then down in the police station she says, "how could he find me?".

It might just have been her that was very scareed or something, you can say stuff like that then. But I like to think differently

My bet is it's either a more evil guy than Sylar, or Sylar form the future, with both Hiros, Nathan and Claires powers!
