at the beginning, the professor told his students that cockroach's the most undying creature.

in the season 2, more cockroachs appear, maybe it's the animal idol of the whole story...

Well I remember reading somewhere that the cockroaches are the minions of some guy called Kane who is a new character in the series (it might be a load of rubbish though) also is there not meant to be like a 2000 year old irish crimeboss introduced at some stage?

I read another theory earlier mentioned that Sylar actually had rehealing power. when that night he tried to kill cheerleader, peter wanted to stop him. They both fell off, but finally sylar quickly stood up and left, peter almost "passed away" if he hasn't powers.

before sylar was taken in by the company at the end of the homecoming ep he was crazy powerful, tk has been used to fill in most of the holes as to "where did this power come from?" if he can use it to stop a bullet point blank i guess he could use it to stop himself or at least cushion the blow. or he landed on peter then repositioned himself because it got a little awkward.

I agree the "Stop Bullet" theory, it's reasonable.
