I live in Australia and have therefor only seen up to epp. 21 but here's the theory. All the characters recieve their abilities geneticaly so Hiro's father must have powers too. I think the story about the Samuri and the Dragon he talks about with Hiro is about him. What if his power is to not age? The mysterious symbol was on his sword, so it started with him. The Dragon I believe is just a metaphore and is Mr. Lindeman. Ther are several reasons this works. The story tells of the dragon wanting the Samuri's "Special" Princess and we know that Mr. Lindeman has been studying and paring couples with powers to produce favourable offspring for his cause. ie- Nikki + D.L. = Micha. Mr. Lindeman can also heal so not only does that mean he can not age or die he can also heal the Samuri after he cut his heart out. Hiro's father also talks about two important things. He tells Hiro that a long time ago he was alighed with other "Special" poeple until they lost there way...ie- Mr. Lindeman (The Dragon). The other thing he says is that "out of all of them, [he] didn't think it would be [Hiro]" Implying that he has had many children but did not expect Hiro to be the one to gane powers and fight back against Lindeman. Well, that's my theory. I'll just keep watching the show and wait to be proved wrong.

Just another thought. Maybe Issack's painting of Hiro fighting a Dinosaure was meant to represent Hiro's father fighting the Dragon. Or how about the fable IS about Hiro after traveling back in time to fight the Dragon!!! I've confused myself now ![]()

What bothers me is Peter's skills, it's obvious he and his brother are the offspring of gifted people, so how comes he hasn't absorbed his mothers powers and the powers of Nathan's kids, or is it because Nathan's children haven't received their powers yet, but then how has Micha when he's about the same ages as Nathan's kids. I want to know what gift Peter's mum has.

If she does have powers, which I'm almost positive she does, then he has in fact absorbed them. I kind of believe that her power is the prophetic dreams, which is why Peter was having them. | |

Maybe Micuh/Molly are smarter than Nathans kids O.o that's why they discovered it. Or perhaps he had the right provoking to find his power. OR Perhaps the children don't even have a power, and Nathans wife had no power at all.(Though that isn't a very favorable match) but anyways just a thought.

the people that are discovering these extraordinary abilities were usually either looking for them or were reacting to some extreme force. nathan's kids don't have any need to have a power at this point, whereas micah knew his parents could do things so why shouldn't he be able to as well? also, he read the 9th wonders comics. molly's may have activated during sylar's attack, just wouldn't have helped her much.
