Can somebody tell me;

When Peter dreams about exploding New York City, why is the painter, Isaac holding his old girlfriend behind...

When Hiro timewarped at the time of the bomb, Isaac was dead on the ground with his brain removed, most likely due to Sylar. Was this a mistake by the producers of the show?

Thankyou.

ok I'm not sure this is what i think... by them saving her ( the cheerleader ) they must have changed part of the future, therefore with sylar behind the bars or glass in this case it's more than likely that isaac was spared and that's why we see him pulling his ex back..

I don't think its a mistake at all... its a cliff hanger and you are lucky enough to find out what the story tonight... I on the other hand need to wait a little while

Hope this is a bit of insight..

J-Cat,
The dream is said (by Tim Kring) to be representative of how Peter sees everyone -- not the reality of where or who they are. Take a look at the dream sequence again and all of it will make better sense.
