I find it amusing how the French lines (except in the Haitian's case) are hardly understandable. Nathan's accent is not even plausible, either for somebody who is perfectly fluent in french, or for somebody who is currently learning it, it does'nt sound that way... As for Samedi, he doesn't seem to know how to conjugate. I don't mind this, since it's in a show, and they at least tried. It's just fun to try and understand without the subtitles, it made me smile

I don't mind if you don't. Most Americans seem to struggle with many concepts of the English language, despite it being their first and, in most cases, only tongue to speak of.

Well, Jimmy Jean-Louis is really Haitian, so yeah, I think he really does speak French... The rest of the cast is nearly ununderstandable tough. I think I should have named this thread "Languages in Heroes" it would have drawn more discussion... About the Japanese and Spanish too.

The spanish was flawless, it helped that they spoke it as a first language and speaking english with difficulty was part of the plot.

Yeah, James Kyson Lee is Korean, and his Japanese seems pretty good for someone who learns his texts verbally. I'm not good enough in Japanese to know how good or bad it really is tough. I can hear he has an accent, but apart from that, it feels quite natural...
