| Hey, This may seem like an odd and completely random question, but yesterday I was walking and looked down to see my shadow and I thought for some odd reason, Would Claude (or anyone who can become invisible) have a shadow? Because I was thinking... He isn't completely translucent is he? I mean doesn't he still feel the sun on him? And if the sun's rays hit him that would create a shadow right? What do you guys think...?

| well, if people looking directly at him see whatever's behind him then wouldn't that mean that light also passes through him? it's not so much the rays hitting him that cause the shadow, it's the light being halted by an obstruction and not reaching the area the rest of the light is able to reach. so i guess he would have to be transparent and translucent. |

| Interesting question! I'd say... yes he'd have a shadow. Because I think the power is that he tricks the mind to make people not see him. He can't exactly trick the Sun can he?!

| You mean like the stealth suit on Metal Gear Solid? That would certainly explain it. |

| I'm not to sure that's how his power works. I'm pretty sure he bends light around him, so he appears like he is not there. We see things with our eyes because light reflects off of stuff. If light were to bend around something, we wouldn't see it. The US Army is actually researching technology to bend light around tanks or even soliders. It's a quite intersting technology. |

| Maybe he would have a shadow but a light one. Hardly noticable, you know. Or maybe he doesn't. Interesting post though. |
