Sci Fi Wire reports that NBC's highly anticipated new superhero series Heroes, which debuts September 25th, will be accompanied by a web comic that will "play a huge part internally inside the show", according to creator and executive producer Tim Kring. "People can log on and view and sort of interact with the online comic book every week in conjunction with the episodes. And the comic won't be necessarily about that episode, but it will further enhance your viewing of the show. It will be sometimes an alternative look at what you've seen, or the other side of what you've seen, or a story that just sort of enhances your appreciation of the characters".

I decided to go looking around to see if the Claire and the Cat comic might be resurfacing surreptitiously online as a test that it works. At first I checked out the nbcuniversal site, and it looked like its homepage has changed a little. There is a section (it uses flash) for web exclusives and another for the NBC 24/7 videos (which has the 2-minute+ trailer for HEROES).

Then I clicked on MyNBC, and saw I could pick shows to get their content. So I chose HEROES, and after some loading, this is what I saw:

Pretty cool, huh?!? But clicking on the links just led to the non-updated heroes.nbc.com site. So Hiro will have a blog, too?!? Will it be in English?

It also looks like HEROES eps will air the next day one hour earlier. Well, I can only confirm that the HEROES premiere will air the next day. But at TVGuide (which has a new look, with blogs, forums, videos, and such- probably to compete with the likes of tv.com) they do list the encore presentations:

Here are the links to some of the images used on that page:

I be excited for the online content to come! B)

Also, check out this junk:
