Why do they keep calling it heroes???? They saved the world once. In the commercials they say they are trying to save the world, form what?? a carnival?? themselves?? anything that was/is going to happen was directly caused by them. Nothing ever happens, It's become about discovering these jackasses, Nothing else. ![]() ![]() Going nowhere is what this show is about, its Sienfield. except, they repeat every story line,, Thank you

| Peter is the only one that is trying to fulfill his Hereos destiny. Other than that, yeah...

Hiro is also following his calling even tho it's a little vague what it is right now. Parkman is also beeing a Hero by keeping Sylar in his head. He's keeping the psycho killer emprisoned to keep the world safe. Too bad that Parkman doesn't realize how strong his powers are, if he did then he would have no problem dealing with Sylar but I think Sylar understands Matt's power more than Matt himself. We could also say that the empty shell of Sylar (Nathan) is wanting to be a Hero, he's a little lost right now still trying to find himself but he was repulsed by his past actions and I think he will be fighting evil Sylar to keep control of his body. I also see Bennett as a Hero now because even tho he doesn't have any power himself, he's still trying to help people with abilities. I can't wait to see what's happening with Mohinder and Micah. I still enjoy watching this show alot and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I really like the carnival, it's kind of like their own little city. I'm sure there's a bigger purpose behind it but I'm sure we'll know in due time.

Well said veyron3k3!!! I watched the first season and thought this was a decent show for commercial television. Decent characters and acting. Good plot. And not too much filler. I downloaded all the episodes for this season to see what is going on. Pathetic!!! There were like 3 episodes where no one actually used a power. The plot is so incoherent, I'm sure the writers have no idea what is happening week to week. They dumped almost all non-caucasian characters... the "customer support rep" Mohinder is gone... thank god. He was so annoying... the only thing more annoying than listening to a DELL customer support rep is watching one. The little Jheri curl kid Micah, gone. Haven't seen the Haitian either. Just Hiro. The first time we saw "Future Hiro", he spoke perfect English without an accent. So in that alternative timeline, he lost his accent and spoke perfect English in a few years. In this timeline, years later, still broken, annoying English. Why doesn't he just take Sylar back 1 million years and drop him off??? Be done with it already. They have gone from multi-cultural and are breaking into physically challenged. Now we have a deaf girl with synesthesia. Wow, what a power... she can see sound as colors. Amazing. She will surely save... NOTHING! But she can crack dry wall with a cello. So, does the cello have super powers or her? Maybe she can get a job gutting houses on HGTV. Peter touched deaf girl and absorbed her power/affliction and was no longer able to run fast. Then he went to the hospital and touched Hiro to regain the time/space power. Before he leaves, he touches the deaf girl agin, but did not lose the time/space power. Interesting. Who writes this stuff??? It is appallingly bad. Tons of loop holes and inconsistencies. They can put this show on the new Sci-Fi channel... now spelled "SyFy" for teenage idiots that can't spell because they spend all day texting each other. And the emotions! Good lord! Every hero is like a sniveling schoolgirl that just got her first period. Whine, complain, cry, bitch, moan. I don't know if I should do it... my conscience... I'm too righteous... the repercussions... the consequences. Parkman, or Cartman (fat ass), is the most ridiculous of all. What a girl. Be he has nice breasts. Claire... someone should park a steamroller on her. She wouldn't die, but she would just be stuck there so no one would have to hear her complain about her pathetic life. Or maybe nail her to the floor... she can be a living, talking, carpet. What a conversation piece. Not much of a power. She's 108 pounds. So she can't really do any damage or prevent any... but she can't die. By the way, no one saved the world, they just saved the people in Manhattan. And is that such a good thing. The best thing for this show is for Sylar to kill everyone on the planet and realize he has no one to tweet anymore and then he kills himself. THE END!!!!!! Berz, the earlier seasons were about integration and acceptance, like X-Men. Now they have this carnival which represents segregation and a nomadic home for misfits that have no place in society. But don't worry, regardless if you intend to continue watching or not, there will be no show to watch after this season. The ratings have slipped each season for four straight. I would rather tune in every Monday and watch the yule log burn for an hour! Last edited by jbs : 11-09-2009 at 01:36 PM. Reason: format

Agreed... and btw @ Heroes fan's who are fickle or even downright stingy with their love (I have been guilty as well), Realize how many other super hero 'evolutions' we have sat through wavering the whole time, but remaining because we love not only the characters; but the concept as a whole.

I agree with the rediculousness of the flaws in the show that they can't seem to over come. But my love for the show has returnded in full force, they tried to kill it with seasons two and three but I 'm still watching, I really think they have made this seaseon more enjoyable to watch and I hope foe more seasons. JBS I understand your frustrations, we have all expressed a dislike for some part of the show, but why would you join just to rag on Heroes, add something positive about the show as well, it's not all bad.
