yeah..but we'll see. im so giving this season a chance. i know since season 2 it really sucked but im still keeping my fingers crossed that somehow it will pick up where season 1 has left

i just wish more happened per episode, some episodes seem like they could have happened in the first 15 to 30 minutes of the show, and disappointed me and my 7 day wait for it...

i agree with love interest. and i think her power will evolve to something like being able to take those colorful waves and gather them up and blast someone with them, lol. and things like removing all sound from the air (so that NO ONE can hear anything) or increase the amplitude of even the smallest sound to deafen her enemies with a loud sound they cannot sound. she MIGHT even be able to increase ALL sound waves so that she can hear NORMALLY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE I HOPE!! LOL.

I can't remember where but I heard the term 'sonicboom' used somewhere. Basically when Emma builds up sounds waves, like she did when she was playing the cello in her apartment, she can use them to make a sonic blast like the one that damaged the wall in her apartment.

Apparently Samuel's going to take an interest her at some point.

i was thinking she may recieve an understanding of the colors she sees to the point that she can hear, but with her eyes. i guess this would mean remote listening capability as well, as long as she can see the sound, this is just a theory tho.

I'm curious as to why Peter did not heal her hearing seeing as how he can heal about anything else.

Emma its just random....probably has nothing to do with the entire plot. That is if there is a plot. I started to thing the writers sit together a day before the shoot and come up with ideas on how to fill up an episode.

She's the fuzzy feel good factor, I hope they don't try to make her a super hero, let's just keep her as the conflicted deaf Doctor; whose handicap has been responsible for one death... so far.

Now, if they [the supers] get all cool and open a secret lair [Hiro is loaded btw] somewhere; in the orbit of Earth, and use it to combat the will of lesser well meaning "extraordinary people" she could act as staff Doctor.

But for now she is the warm hug they've chosen to dole out with each episode.
