| I don't really get it. Was was Flint or Knox for that matter on level 5? For all that they should have rounded up Meredith and Nikki (R.I.P?) and thrown them in there...same powers just not as retarded as the guys. |

| i know ... just think of all that went into trapping sylar (he had just tried to kill hrg's daughter) .... and they put him in level 2?! flint was a dullard, what did he do to end up in level 5?! it's a bit short sighted that the level 5ers are so lame compared to sylar

Sylar is the same way, he only killed people with special powers (yeah, I know he killed some people without powers, but it's mainly people with powers), so he's only a threat to a certain group of people. | |

| Senior Member | They never said his name, I don't think. He was in the episode where they went to rob the bank, Knox killed him.

| canfield ACCIDENTIALLY killed one guy, and he ended up in level 5. sylar killed suresh's father, countless others in his hunt for power. what's the criteria for getting into level 5? level 5 didn't seem any worse than level 2 anyway ... so what's the purpose?

| seriously Level 5 is a joke. There are no serious locks on the doors. people can just walk in and be like, c'mon lets get outta here. The only difference is the LOOK. Adam and Peter were on level 1. seriously? Adam. the guy that All the other Oldies hated was on Level 1. Sylar was the only good villian, why? because he was the ONLY villian. Now the writers are being forced to expand and spread visions of evil across a wider spectrum and they cant do it. Season 1, I feared and despised Sylar, something a villian is supposed to do. Think about todays comics and how THOSE villians are. not a bunch of "level 5" grunts. Truely horrible and malicious characters. Id liken the Villians to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. Soft and Cute, but really mad and annoying. |

| even disney has created villains that people can despise more than this season of heroes. cruella deville, the jerk that shot bambi's mother, the spinster elephants that made fun of dumbo .... supervillain 101: the bad guys are the antagonists of the good guys. you create characters that people care about, introduce characters that hurt them or make their life difficult and voila, you have a villain. villains are as important as heroes. a hero is only as good as his or her nemesis makes them. that's why superman sucks, he has no equal. the problem i have with this season (at least the main problem) is that we didn't even know who was who until the get togethers at the end of the episode. suddenly daphne is good, tracy took no convincing to corrupt, sylar is still a 'gray' area (no pun intended) ... still, who's to say which side is bad? worst yet, who cares? i still don't know what the big fight is about ... i don't know what would be so important that arthur would be willing to hurt his wife, sons, and niece .... why angela would be willing to hurt her husband and son sylar, i mean they have hurt each other in the past, but the build up to the showdown has been a little weak up to now.

| The German, did he not know the extent of his powers? or were the truely that limited. seriously....he opened car doors and had to LISTEN to the mechanisms in the safe. If you had powers and were using them for evil. why not completely destroy some stuff. Rip the safe door clean off. Toss a couple cars while your lackey Flint sets them a flame. (Magneto, Pyro special move) Sylar Flipped a Truck with TELEKINESIS, stabbed Peter in the head with shattered glass. that is pure delicious evil thank you for starting this thread cuz i feel a strong urge to vent about these loser villians. |
