A long theory i woke up thinking about

In the future, future Peter claims some people were born with powers and some werent. but it didnt seem like he was talking about the people walking around New York. It seemed like he was talking about people present Peter knows.

What if only Adam originally had powers. He met the members of the company and let them know his secret. Many members of the company were experienced scientist and others came from wealth. With those two qualities working together they began an experiment to create more people like Adam, so everyone could become immortal. Adam is like the real fountain of youth. They began by experimenting on themselves and it failed. Instead of becoming immortal it gave them other abilities. But they wanted immortality so they began experimenting on people outside the company. after decades, the experiment has wrapped around the globe with no success. They are giving people incredible powers but not creating immortals.

Adam grows tired of this and sees the company as greedy and decides to stop the experiment. he of course is thrown in a prison for this. This splits the members of the company between those who still are loyal to adam because they believe he can give them eternal life and those that believe he is a villan. several leave because they are sent away like Parkman's father. others leave on their own because they want to wash their hands of the company's sins like Hiros father and the parents of Peter and Nathan. they also took the formula with them to keep it safe.

Linderman and Bob stay with the company and change its goal. they see what they have created. a world full of genetically altered people, most of which are giving birth to genetically alter babies. the company turns into a police action to control the problem. it goes out and finds people with powers to keep them in check and to see if the experiment can be reversed. the reversing experiment is what caused season 2 and the whole virus.

And i have proof the company gave everyone powers. Think back to Claires old flyboyfriend. Bennet brought him in for study. How did Bennet find him? even if molly was old enough to track him down, can molly track people with powers? she hasnt seemed to show the ability. she simply is given a name and she tracks them. the company knew flyboy had powers because they experimented on either him or his parents.

This is why Claire is special. she is the first success. the experiment has worked. she is immortal like adam. this is why Angela had Bennet raise her without ruining Nathan's political career. This is why Bob was so interested in her and protecting her from Sylar.

But I wonder why Peter of Matt wouldn't have gotten any of that info from all the mind reading they do?

Molly has found people with powers. She's found Matt's dad, Sylar, Peter, and more I'm sure.

They've already stated on the show that some people in the present have been created and their genes altered to try and make a perfect human being.

yes she can find people with powers but she cant find them just because they have powers. to her people with powers and people without are the same to find. plus flyboy( i cant remember this name) was a boy when he was taken by Bennet. I would dare to guess molly was either an infant or not even born yet.

This is an awesome theory. It fits in with Adam's name too (ie Genesis in the Bible - he is the first of his kind and from him the rest were created)

Great theory! I think that story would actually be awesome! However, there's a problem.

In the online novels, Adam met another special during the revolutionary' war. Also, Linderman had his power when he was a lot younger, way before the Company was founded. Linderman was also part of a military' team sent to assassinate a young girl with powers.

I read your blacked out area. i believe they plan on keeping the shows story line original and different from the story lines of other media. but yeah the blows my theory up true. i only watch the show. not into that other media.
