after nathan saves tracy from committing suicide, they hook up in an apartment.

i just hope the writers do address things like his wife, kids, caitlin in the future, and other people that they seem to have forgotten.....

ahh that's one of the things i missed when my damn Dish DVR rebooted for no apparent reason

Caitlin wasn't that important to the story, I don't think, plus she's probably killed in the future.

As for Nathan's wife and kids, that was explained in season 2 basically. When Nathan thought Peter was dead and went down the path he did, where he turned basically into an alcoholic hobo, his wife left him and took the kids so they couldn't see him. Remember he went to see his kids at their school and the teacher I believe told Nathan he wasn't allowed to talk to them.

Isnt Nathan pretty consistent.

Always appear as the semi-confused, but good man, who desire to get the right thing done.
But also soft for basic human needs and for persuasion. Yet, even when persuaded, he will not be so unless he sincerely believe in what he is doing.

Sort of a man with a good heart, great potential, but yet still lack (dominant mother ??? ) some self-esteem and therefore vulnerable for typical human needs and for other peoples opinions.

And , i should add, in the end, after a long back and forth, he always seems to end up following what his heart tells him and therefore do the morally right thing
