A few serious questions about the last episode

I have a few questions about the last episode:

1. When future peter was shot i know he died because the haitian was there, but once the haitian leaves shouldnt peter come back to life?

2. Why can a bullet in the head kill peter, but not Claire even though peter has claire's power? (as a side note, in season 1 or 2 peter got a piece of glass in his head which according to claire should kill him, but once it was removed peter came back to life)

3. When peter is confronted at Sylar's future house in costa verde, why doesn't he jsut stop time and kill them or run away? Why does he let things get out of control?

4. How did Matt Parkman see the future? Was he really jsut reading the african guy's mind?

all good questions. some may be answered in due time, some may be just left open to interpretation.
this is just my opinion:
-maybe peter could start to regenerate once the haitain is out of range, but they may have taken measures (shot or impaled his brain) to ensure that doesn't happen. since future peter is viewed as a terrorist, i doubt anyone would try and revive him.
- freezing time probably would have been the only way to difuse the situation at sylar's house, but daphne can still move in time freeze (though i don't think peter knew that). it seemed like peter wanted answers more than to escape. he was trying to figure out how claire had gone so bad and then everything went so bad (or good in terms of how cool a story it turned into)
- the african gave matt something to eat that caused him to have a vision of the future. some tribes take hallucinagens to have visions in the real world, i think it was meant to be like that.

why were hiro and ando digging up adam monroe?

how did sylar prevent peter from getting his ability (of how things work, hunger of understanding)?

I agree with the reply to question 3 about Sylars power. Peter had just aquired it , and as we have seen before, he needs time to control his abilities.

Therefore the "why why....how did you become like this, my niese..I have to understand.." for too long, instead of starting incapacitating them

this is actually my first time to watch heroes on TV and I must say I don't think I'm going to make it til the end of the season. My wife and I like to watch 3 or 4 episodes at a time without the commercials. we just watched season 1 and 2 over the last few months, and while we love this show... we can't stand commercial breaks or waiting for the next week!! and yes, we do have a DVR, but still lol

oh, and peter had so many opportunities to freeze time when he was with future sylar. his last chance coulda saved 200K people, but he didnt freeze time b4 sylar exploded. he coulda then teleported him to a desert of something or the middle of the ocean anything. present peter seems to have the teleportation thing down pat as he was able to go back to his time as well as right inside sylar's cell.

Now that he has Gabriel's power he should understand how to control all his abilities if he can control the "hunger".

1. The Haitian stayed there, they shot Peter in the neck so he's incapacitated.

2. It can't kill him, Claire said he was still alive. Claire/Peter/Sylar/Adam can not be killed, they can be incapacitated by something penetrating their brain and staying there, but once removed they'll heal back.

3. He was probably in shock at what was happening, when you get in really stressful situations it's hard to think straight.

4. The African guy gave Matt something to eat that induced the procog ability, he gave him headphones to make it come on faster.

I've read a spoiler about this (although I really think it's obvious, to me at least), so if you want to know highlight the following:

They're digging up Adam because he knows about rogue agents (Daphne). Hiro is going to get Adam to help them.

I don't think Sylar's power works like that. I believe Sylar can only see how things work, he can't see how to control them 100%. He also stated that the power he has, the hunger is almost like a side effect.
