That is an excellent point. I didn't think about that. This is why having storylines dealing with time travel are not always good.

I think she was most upset because he shot Nathan. Remember the phone call she had at the end of the last season and she said "well of course now you know you've opened Pandora's box" I think she was (somehow) talking to future Peter and how he set into motion a bad future. I don't think Claire in the future was 'bad' per se...just...hardened from having to run and hide all the time (although with her healing powers and all, why does she need to run?) I think there must be more to Claires power. Already she is talking about how with her powers all she is is a victim and that she wants to learn how to fight so I'm thinking that at some point she is going to learn an actice (attack) type of power but I don't think it will come directly from her healing power...mabe from an injection. Her blood will probably stop an injection from screwing up her body like it's doing to Mohinder's. I think the only think we will see as a direct evolution of her healing power is the ability to heal others...although wouldnt a power to 'unheal' (make sick) people be pretty awesome? Here's another random thought. Do you think that future Claire was really trying to kill future Peter? After all those years she must have known that if she shot him he would just freeze time or teleport.

well peter should be invinsible like her ... except to head wounds. the only time claire died and couldn't come back was when she had that stick go thru her head. which raises the issue "why didn't sylar just impale her brain?" ... if he can figure out so much about her by probing her brain ... wouldn't he, in theory have figured out she is his supposed niece? ... more questions than answers i am afraid

D.L. never used his phasing ability when Peter was near him and D.L. is the only one we ever saw with that ability, plus Peter only was near D.L. during the Kirby Plaza battle with Sylar. So, I'm guessing Peter has absorbed all powers so far, he just hasn't used them all.

Sort of like when he was training with Claude, he used telekenesis and had no idea how he did it, then he remembered it was Sylar's power. He probably has powers, just hasn't realized them all yet.

He does have her super strength. I don't know about freezing and technopathy though, he hasn't displayed them, but I'm sure he has it.

Also, I don't think Niki can call upon anyone's power to use it, that'd be just like empathic mimicry, like what Peter has. I'm still going along with a new personality, a new power.

It makes sense really, Niki would use Jessica when she got into a physical battle and needed strength. So, why not become Tracy and use her cyrokenesis to extinguish the flames, or free them?

Another theory, while inside the burning building Niki was trying to find a way out, she then possibly got hit in the head and knocked unconcious for a few seconds, then came back as Tracy and freezing her way out of the fire, then once she got outside safely, she passes out again to wake up later in a hospital or whatever with no prior knowledge of the building or her life as Niki. She could be suffering from amnesia.

HeroBoi: good point. future claire shoulda known peter would stop time.. probably did, coz after it happened, she didnt seem phased at all.

Yea...it seems that she got killed that one time when she got a stick stuck (i believe) in her cerabellum. I don't think Sylar can read minds though so he wouldn't have been able to find that out. I remember in one episode the parents were talking about Adam's powers and how he could heal himself better and better each time he got hurt so maybe now that Claire has been totally dead and come back, she can't be killed again? I have a feeling (may be a stretch) that even if she is decapitated she could heal herself if her head is put back to her neck

nitsuJ:AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaallllllso...at the end of season 2 Nikki had a total of 3 personalities (Nikki, Jessica, and GIna) but only one power (strength). Just because she has different personalities doesn't mean she should have new powers. She is still in the same body with the same blood, genetics, DNA, so there has to be some other reason she can now call upon a new power (again, assuming she was the reason she guy froze)

possibly the more damage she takes, the more numb she becomes to it all. she can regenerate but maybe at the expense of her nerve endings. to the point now that she can't feel any pain. that works for me ... the good news is that for as long as the show is on the air, claire will be around ... she's soo effin hot!

regarding nikki ... it could be possible that each personality manifests a different power. if it's all genetic, the different personality could in theory mean different reactions in the brain that unleash different powers. nikki and tracy, in theory are two diffent people ... the same way that hiro and claire and two different people. same superhuman power, different ability.
