Heroes: Brea Grant Talks About Her New Speedy Character

Earlier this month, we reported that Brea Grant, who recently appeared on Friday Night Lights as Jean Binnel, is joining the cast of Heroes next season. She'll be playing a super-fast girl but instead of portraying a character named Joy, the 26-year-old actress will now be playing a Speedster named Daphne.

In an interview with The Associated Press, Grant hints on what to expect from her mysterious character when she debuts on the third season of Heroes on Monday, September 15.

This new character sounds interesting and her power of speed is cool. I hope the writers make her tie in into the story good and that we are not rushed into a storyline that doesn't make sense.

I still think the last thing this show needs is more characters, but we'll see how this one turns out.

I think is cool to add interesting characters but there were very good ones that got killed that I miss

I was one of the original 'Lost" fanatics, but they lost me when they began adding too many new characters and storylines. I hope 'Heroes' doesn't fall in to the same trap. I wonder how much of the changes are driven by trying to keep salary costs down.

LOST is well superior to Heroes, although Heroes is an excellent show too....

I thought they add to many characters actually. (Heroes)

I'll have to see how it all plays it before commenting because I'm still very wary of adding more characters, I had a hard enough time keeping track of everything that was going on last season. Although if this character means that we'll be seeing more of Hiro Nakamura then I am definitely on board.
