Masi OkaWhile the future of some NBC shows, such as Friday Night Lights, remains a mystery, today the network announced it will be renewing three of its most popular dramas for next season.  Life and Chuck will return to the network with at least 13 more episodes in the fall, and they'll be joined by the third season of Heroes.  However, the really great news for fans is that the super powered series will be returning with more than 22 episodes, which should make up for the truncated run of season 2.  It's unknown just how many episodes Heroes will produce, but they should begin airing sometime this fall.

As much as I like Heroes and Chuck, I LOVE Life, so I am SOOOO happy to see this. If they Do bring back FNL I'll be doubly happy.

WOOOOO LIFE!!!!!!!! As wierd as it can be sometimes, its just really awesome as well. The season finale Dig a Hole Fill it Up was just awesome tv. Honestly, I can't believe they renewed it at all, it doesn't really have a niche and it didn't get the best ratings. It must be really cheap to make.

Life is the best show I've seen on TV in a very long time - I haven't been this engaged in a program since West Wing. The cast and writing are great and Damian Lewis is absolutely mesmerizing! I am thrilled that NBC has renewed Life and hope that they give it a good timeslot and promotion because it's worth it!

LIFE is the reason I went back to NBC for this season and the reason I will do so again in the fall of 2008. I'm so pleased it has been renewed. Both the weekly murder and the underlying conspiracy theme intrigued me from the first moments each week. Damian Lewis is the most talented actor to come out of Britain in a generation and others supporting him are perfectly cast. Thank you NBC!
