| I don't know whether a post similar to this is already out there but I'm going to continue this all the same. I would like to find out your views on this sudden life-giving twist the writers have cooked up. Claire's blood, Peter's blood and Hiro's growing mastery of his abilities all now have the added bonus of re-writing the history of the show. Characters that have passed us by now have a glimmer of hope of return, but is this a good thing or bad thing? Nathan and Niki's fates are no longer decided, fanfaves no longer have to die or remain so - but on the other hand does this cheapen the basis of the show? Will writers now senselessly kill characters and then bring them back just for shock value? Will this restore hope that for some reason fatalities from long ago will have some purpose to play and will need to be ressurected (Charlie or Eden perhaps?) Do you think this is a positive plot-piece which further enhances the mystery and uncertainty we have come to know of heroes? Or do you think this is but a lazy deus ex machina set up by the writers to 'entice the audience'? Please share your views! |
