Heroes and the bible?

I am not a bible thumper....but there seems to be alot of religious themes...for example...

Adam...it all started from him....

Adam Monroe...has the power to live forever....(and so far he is the oldest character?)

Eve....had to bare children..

Angela Petrelli-Had Nathan and Peter and she admitted to sleeping with Mr. Nakamura, and Nathan's Dad didn't like him...

12 Apostles...12 Elders that started the group?

Adam,Claire,Linderman-Powers to heal? God?
Rising from the Dead?

One of the Apostles turned against god, some one in the group turned against them.

And then Sylar-Satan? An Angel turned bad?

I might just be high, but let me know?

There are also a lot of biblical names in Heroes.

Adam, Peter, Nathan, Noah, Gabriel, Eden, Micah, Matthew, the list goes on...

Gosh. I never thought of that. I thought the whole Gabriel-Fallen-Angel thing was very biblical,too.

I was reading in another forum, they mention the number 42 is used frequently....

the number 7 is used in the bible alot....

7 x 7 = 49 - 7 = 42?

and then someone made a statement that they referrenced Waffles....Can this be the bread or manna that the bible refers to in several passages?

And then the Whole end of the World theory that plagues will wipe out the living?

if anyone has seen hitchikers guide to the galaxy (i saw the origonal tv show, not the film) 42 is the answer to the question, "what is the meaning of the world, the universe and everthing?" very clever to use 42, although i must say i've not noticed it yet, maybe i did miss something after all !!!

ps. although i think heroes is better (not by much) than the 4400, there are LOADS more similarities in the 4400 to the bible

I think the creators have done a very brave and hilarious thing. Combining 'The Bible' and 'Darwin's theory of Evolution'. COMICAL!!!

The bible thing is very obvious. The Chapters of the Heroes universe, genesis, Generations etc.

ATTN: BuddyTV Interviewers, Ask some questions about this to the heads of heroes if you get a chance.

Religion and Evolution as one.
