Got to say this season has been great totally sucked right in and having to wait a week to find out what happens is killin me, think they should start makin 2 episodes a week |

| agreed, gotta avoid the paradox. also, if he killed him before he did it than it wouldn't be nearly as satisfying, it wouldn't be revenge it would just be mean. |

| agree with Shano and fatj0 Kensei wouldn't kill Hiro's Dad too early because he still need Hiro to go back to ancient Japan then to change his life. As though he didn't regret the condition that actually swordsmith's daughter never love him. He more would like to be a revenger than to be an useless drunkard and never know what's love. But I still am confused about how he got to modern time, had he really been buried alive for over 400 years? |

| I think that anyone who has that much hatred and revenge in their heart, actually grow to love it. If Adam killed Kaito too soon, then hiro wouldn't go back in time (as was already mentioned) and Adam past changed and he wouldn't have that hatred. I'm not sure that Adam would understand all that, and I agree that he started going after the 12 as soon as he escaped from prison (thanks to Peter IMO). Does any of this make sense? Peter's little spirit is going to be crushed when he realizes that it's because he helped Adam that all this is taking place. |

| i don't think kaito was killed because of the vendetta sworn against hiro, i'm fairly certain it was because kaito was one of those resposible for locking him away. a lover's quarrel is a pretty petty excuse to kill someone that had nothing to do with it. |

| Perhaps - but then again that wording was very strong and I dont think it's all about the swordsmith's daughter. He seems to have a seething hatred for Hiro now - maybe because Hiro turned out to be more of a hero than Kensei could have been - I don't know - but it seems to me to be more than just about a love triangle at this point.

| I agree with Robert. It seems that Kensei/Adam hates Hiro with a passion. I really don't know why, but I'm pretty sure it's not because of the love triangle. He never actually seemed too interested in the princess IMO.
