| check this out this article concerns me because I'm a father and I really never feel comfortable with the excees violence on TV....two of my sons watch Heroes and I just assumed it was just superheroes, but apparently its not can anybody comment on how bad the violence actually is on heroes? |

| i watched Heroes last night and, yes, some of the gore is appalling but I genreally found the show to stand on a high moral pillar....I would gladly allow my kids to watch if I actually had kids |

| Senior Member | ....uhhh heroes is on at what, nine? Even if it is too gory, shouldn't they be in bed? if not, then i'd think they are old enough to watch it.

| Yeah, this is not a kid show. It's on at 9pm, and there are viewer discretion warnings before it. It's not really about superheroes, and its not for kids. There's lots of stripping and killing. not suitable for young eyes. |

| The violence is pretty bad, with lots of gore, blood, killing, etc. but it's good so far. I just hope they tie in all the characters sooner. |

| Last night was the first night i actually watched it (cause Vanished was suppose to be on and it wasn't [damn global]) and when they pulled the stick out of the cheerleaders head i was sitting there like "wow this is ..odd" it was really grusome and i watch all three CSI's and other law shows... That was quite nasty. Even for my taste. |

| The gore was pretty nasty, I just closed my eyes till it was over, lol. I think it serves a purpose however - to show the seriousness of Syler's criminality/Claire's abilities. I'd still rather not see it tho.
