| not) trying to identify with these people. having some normal, more casual dialogue and interaction would help that. unless the show really is in such a mad rush that it needs to pound evolution/genetics/hero symbols into its show for 18 episodes. the writing for her segment was just awful, plain and simple. now beyond that, there's now this lost-like theme of putting this hero symbol randomly all over the place with no real implication of why it should be there. it raises obvious questions that it never intends to answer only to spam the feeling of coincidence over everything. i view that as a basic failure in writing that they couldn't think of something else to logically tie these stories together. peter's segment makes little sense. the girl would be carrying on about telekenetics and the main thief guy would probably want to know what in the world just happened. strange though, that even though he fails to ask how he was able to do what he did, he assumes (oh look |

| correctly) that using force (his gun) won't work and he'll need to actually convince peter to help. the thief waving a box around a telekinetic person expecting him to comply (uh... just use telekinetics on the box?) would've more easily have been avoided by keeping his id in an undisclosed location. |

| Who are the Hondurans and what do they have to do with the other characters? Nothing so far. What is the plot about this year? No one knows yet. Hiro is about the only one doing anything. We just see the daily lives of the other Heroes. Boring! |
