To TheEditor....It's the Anonymous guy to whom you responded. Thanks for the feedback, and I totally respect that. I must admit the Ned Ryerson line was indeed witty. I found myself less annoyed with the various storylines during last night's episode than with the premiere. I actually felt like things were starting to get a bit more interesting already, even with the Honduran twins and Hiro's storyline. I found a certain charm in the scene where Hiro uses his powers to snatch the Samurai's weapons, making them look like total jackasses. The fun Hiro was having in that scene was a bit infectious, I felt. Do I still prefer the scenes that take place in the present? Sure. Anyway, we're only two episodes in here. I remember last season needed some time before things really started to cook. Also, I must say I am totally in agreement with you on "Company Man." That was quite possibly my favorite episode yet, first or second season.

Yes, last season definitely took some time to start cooking, but I was hoping this season wouldn't restart everything and need to boil again. This is why Claire, Peter and Hiro are annoying me. However, the Parkman-Mohinder-HRG triad investigation into the Company and Kaito's death is a very good place to start, I guess I just want more of that. I mean, it's gonna suck for Hiro when he comes back to discover his dad is dead.

I really like Heroes, but I'm not "feeling" it this season. I like HRG getting the Haitian back as his partner. And I want to know more about the Elder Heroes but otherwise the last two episodes have felt to me like when Nikki/Jessica would appear last year. It would disconnect me from the show. I'm sure it will get better, or maybe it's just me.

To TheEditor....give it time, my friend, including all the stuff with Claire, Peter, and Hiro. Believe me, I don't want Tim Kring and company to drop the creative ball, but I'm confident everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is going somewhere. And yes, it's the same Anonymous dude again.

I don't think Maya & Alejandro are comparable to Nikki & Paulo. You may not like their plotline, but Maya & Alejandro exist for a purpose in the story, there's not the sense that their appearence in the story contradicts what was shown before, and they aren't just *there* with the writers not doing anything with them. Whatever problems their plotline might have, they aren't the same problems that existed with Nikki and Paulo. -sa@bonasi.com

valcets, what's your issue with subtitles? I like that Heroes tries to have an international feel, since the superpowers are supposed to be a global phenomenom. -sa@bonasi.com

"...but she only sees true evil power in her, enough 'to kill the devil.'" Foreshadowing? Is she going to be the answer to Molly's new boogie man? Or Sylar? I think those two will be large players down the line.

so far, i've really disliked where heroes has gone this season and several of my friends are leaving it off their list of things to do. so why on earth am i leaving a comment? because what the writers are doing wrong is so blatantly apparent despite being given enormous potential for something better. to sum it up quickly, it's a prioritization and excessive focus of hero qualities in all aspects of the show. think that's the only reason why viewers are watching? because they're waiting for when peter gets pissed off and starts going to town with all his powers or when claire gets brutalized and recovers? yes and no. yes those things have set this show apart and made it attractive to a large number of people. but the no is the same reason you don't let the lead male finally get a happy stable relationship with the lead female until you want the show to end. giving the audience what it's seeking isn't always the best approach. the largest of the stories in this episode was c

claire's. in her's, every sentence spoken by every actor in her story revolved around her regenerative ability. the teacher talking about evolution and genetics (specifically regeneration? wtf?), the high school boy carrying on about the same thing - and then conveniently armed with suresh's book, her dad reminding her of the dangers of her exposing her powers, her unnecessarily grabbing something in boiling water, etc. this is just too much. this would be like watching the sopranos and having them all kill each other in one episode. it doesn't happen because it doesn't need to happen. we get it. even the kids get it. and the ones that don't once you've stopped hammering your plot into them will respect the show more when they eventually do. like something that eventually a lot of good comic book writers come to is that they find that they need to properly blend the "specialness" of their characters with the absolute mundaneness of their surroundings. people are (like it or
