| So Heroes has returned, and the question for fans and non fans alike is did it live up to the enormous hype that NBC lavished on it over the down season. The answer so far seems to “maybe.” Heroes was predictably edged out by Dancing with the Stars, which was so expected that it doesn't really count as a loss, but it failed to hold second place in distinction, instead sharing the spot with CBS's comedy duo of Two and a Half Men and Rules of Engagement. | Moderator ![]() ![]() | I didn't notice for the longest time that it was product placement in the first season either, but this episode it was so blatant, it wasn't even funny. Still, if fewer commerials means more actual Heroes storytime, I'm willing to let it(at least this one) slide. Seems like every year commerials take up more and more airtime. Its nice to have meatier episodes where commercials aren't sucking down 30 percent of the airtime. Let's just hope Heroes gets smarter about how they toss in their product placements. |

You guys didn't notice? Hiro said "Nissan Versa" probably about 3 dozen times last season. It's a good thing no one made a drinking game of it or I'd be toast.

Rules on product placement are chinging in teh EU and UK, and essentially if the programme contains the placement in it's editorial content, tyhen it should be no problem for the BBC. Unless they trim the scene before airing it in the misty future.

If you lived in SO CAL (where they live on the show), every gets a new car regardless of the income you make. It is not suspicious. Who knows, maybe they re-fi'ed their 2nd.

always some hater who sticks in his/her no-sense worth of comment. I like both. If you don't like Heroes stop watching it and stop stalking the web pages. Sheesh - go rent the Lost box set if your hanging out to see Sawyer
