Tonight, Heroes drew its champions against their quarry and the fate of mankind was decided as one chapter closed, and another began.  As far as finales go, Heroes “How to Stop an Exploding Man” was an avid demonstration of the state-of-the-art.  Multiple arcs that flowed together perfectly, forming a rushing stream of suspense that ended with  certainty and doubt, rescue and danger, and a teaser of an epilogue that just made us scream for more.

Do you mean Niki saved the day by making Sylar let go of his grip on Peter?

It was good but I wanted more from the Peter/Sylar fight.

The Peter/Sylar fight was disappointing. Also why would Sylar let Hiro just run up and stab him? He saw him coming - why not use his telekinesis to stop him?

Well Kristin from E! has said that Milo and Adrian will be back next season, so I am betting on them not being dead (atleast I hope). Peter can regenerate, and even in the future episode, he was alive after he exploded. And I am guessing that there is some kind of "Hero code" or something, that since Nathan saved the day, they somehow let him live. But I do agree that the Sylar/Peter showdown needed a whole lot more action! They are both way too powerful for nothing else to have happened. By the way...whatever happened to that T-Rex that Hiro was suppossed to fight?

Not watched this episode yet but the Genesis aspect featuring Hiro ties into a theory I've had for a while: Hiro is in fact Takezo Kensei!

I've suspected this for sometime but the Epilogue/Cliff hanger definitely seems to point towards my suspicions.

Where was Claude?
Why was he laughing in the prophecy?
This was nothing close to "every last hanging thread". Besides for the fact that the heroes have done a lot of really stupid things to make this finale and the bomb happen.

I was very disappointed. Bringing together all the arcs was done well, but there are some glaring questions left.

Why did the showdown not resemble Peter's vision at all?
Why didn't Peter fly himself up, we know he has Nathan's power. Wasn't really neccessary to (maybe) kill his brother.

Why did Sylar just let Hiro stab him?

Lots of little inconsistancies and not much payoff, in my opinion.

I was anticipating a more substantial battle between Peter and Sylar, but wasn't disappointed by the final result. Iczorro, it seems Peter can only use one power at once, hence he can't fly while going nuclear. As for Nathan, it's possible he flew Peter really high, then let go and flew away, but I'd rather he die. It's too much of a stretch and isn't as redemptive an ending if he lives. That said, I already can't wait for next season
