| Heroes has been lauded as the best attempt ever to bring comic books to TV; the main difference is it isn’t based on an actual comic book. Many have picked up on the shows post-graphic novel era darkness, its contemporary plot twists, and the vast void of endless conspirators; despite all this, Heroes stands on its own.
