| ![]() It has been seven weeks since the last new episode of Heroes aired on NBC, and for all you fans out there, I'm sure it's been a cruel wait. With only five episodes (or “chapters”, if you're so inclined) left, I think it's about time to begin thinking about season two of Heroes. Sure, it's a little early, but blind speculation is always a fun exercise.

I say number 2 would work best. Kill some off and add some more

It's supposed to be a serialized drama, it takes credit for being one, therefore the story should continue. If they change direction after a not so thrilling first year I will not continue to waste my time on this show, they should improve on what they already have, I won't invest in new characters again.

Option 2 is the best.. It actually fits somewhat with the flow so far. Hana, Dale, etc.. Allows for continual twists and focus changes while still keeping the flow. New characters get introduced through interaction with existing ones. In a way, you can get all the advantages of option 3, without the large risks of "catching the audience" again. By the end of season 2 you could end up with a totally new cast, without losing any of the regular viewing audience.

i think they should just do what i say and keep some of the old cast find away 4 sylar 2 become a good guy and bring in even better villians like a guy that can suck yur power out of u by his using energy or a villan that can touch pepole and make them go into a comma or somthing like that what ever season two brings it better be intense more power using and much better than the first season.

It's already been announced that next season will have a completely new plot with mostly new heroes. Hiro will stick around, but a lot of the main cast will be gone.

"SCI FI Channel talked to Heroes creator Tim Kring about the second season of the popular show. Here's a clip: Tim Kring, creator of NBC's hit series Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming second season will constitute a new volume in the multi-volume series, with new characters and an entirely new storyline. "If you remember, the opening of the pilot pronounced the episode as the beginning of Volume One," Kring said in an interview. "Volume One comes to a conclusion at the end of episode 23, and Volume Two starts with the opening of season two. And Volume Two is a different story." Visit the link above for more of the interview." -Superherohype.com
