After a run of fairly tame Heroes tid bits, the net is on fire with major Spoilers concerning upcoming episodes, returning characters, and changes of allegiance that you simply will not believe.  With just under two weeks before Heroes returns, prepare yourself for a Heroes spoiler overload.

Many of these come by way of Kristin at E!Online who was a guest on the set of Heroes recently and got some answers to some huge questions.  We uncovered a few things through some of our own exclusive incursions into the world of Heroes which we will be sharing with you soon enough.  In the meantime, however, here come some details on Heroes short-term future that will blow your

I just have to say that to anyone who paid attention to the last episode...Claire is not the Cheerleader that has to be saved. She is still alive in the future, and Sylar is the President. We also learn that Peter is the one who blew up New York. Now he has already absorbed Claire's power...so how can saving her save the world? Sylar himself told us who needs to be saved...and she did become the Cheerleader for one episode...the person that needs to be saved is none other than Candice...the shapeshifter...the one whose power will make sure that Sylar is never caught...

Andrew,

You're giving future Hiro way too much credit. He didn't even know that Sylar was pretending to be Nathan, much less know about Candice, so how could he have meant for her to be the one Peter saved?

Future Hiro thought that Sylar was the one who blew up New York; in reality it was Peter Petrelli. So Future Hiro's message to Peter was really almost meaningless -- because Sylar is not the one they have to stop. They have to find a way to prevent Peter from exploding.

From what I've heard, Peter is the main concern. He doesn't "absorb" other heros' powers, he gives them to them. He is essentially the Goody Bag that everyone's been unknowingly dipping into and passing on almost like a plague to certain people with the correct DNA to receive a power. So, stop Peter, stop everyone's power? Maybe, maybe not. I think the key is to figure out how he's dishing out powers to people and how Sylar's aquiring them.

i love heroes but the thing that makes me get angry is that many heroes are dying and i heard that hiro survived the explosion because he went 20 years in the past and suresh is surely getting no powers in season 2 more heroes are still dying

Uhmmmm Craig, Peter doesn't give powers out. Peter is the one who can absorb just by being around someone who is actively using their powers. I was dissapointed with the episode that aired on 5/7. I can't believe that after all this time and after Claude the invisible guy explained how peter worked, that peter would go running straight into the guy that will give him the nuke power. they needed to keep peter away from ted (the nuke guy) and hiro needed to grow some cohones and kill sylar before he runs into candice or claire.

The very end of Episode 21 (The Hard Part) should debunk the rumor that Peter needs to be around someone who is actively using his/her power to absorb. Ted certainly wasn't using his power, and Peter absorbed it anyway. Now, that begs the question of whether the power had to have been used within a certain time frame before Peter runs into them . . .

I agree, there was that rumor "actively using power". Peter just need to be near the person to adquire new powers.

The thing is breaking my mind is
HOW DOES PETER GOT TELEQUINETIC POWERS!!!!
he was never around the guy sylar kills first
he was near sylar when saving the claire, so he did got his power from sylar.

Does that mean that from the last sylar-peter meeting, peter now has all the sylars habilities too?
melting things
freezing things
THX-Suround-megabass ears

i think he doesn't know he does have those habilities, he has to remember how he felt when being around a particular person in order to use his power, the question is why those power haven't made present when peter is thinking or remembering sylar.

For everyone here i little bit of info. Peter already has every ability they merely hav to be triggered within him. When peter is on the roof with claud experimenting with his abilitys it all gets a bit too much for him, at which point he started to go nuclear, at this point he had never even heard of ted spague or any such nuclear ability, he merely knew that he was eventually going to explode, thus aggitation triggers his nuclear ability. simple really

I do not agree Adi boo, when claude and peter are in the ground with that taxi all smashed, peter finds out that remembering the person is the way to trigger the hability, and the habilityes that make present are claud's, isaac, premonition of him exploding and some weird headache not nuclear capabilities.

Episode 14 distractions.
