heroes-news.jpgSix months after its premiere on September 25, 2006, two artists complains with a lawsuit to NBC Universal and the people behind the network’s sci-fi drama Heroes.

The two New York-based artists, identified as Clifton Mallery and his wife Amnau Karem Eele filed the lawsuit on Thursday in Manhattan claiming that the creators of the show Heroes founded their story line on a short story, a mini series and a short film the couple illustrated in 2004 and 2005. Based on the lawsuit, the couple claimed that two people, who identified themselves as writers from NBC’s Crossing Jordan, were present in the display of their work at Hunter College in New York City last April 2005. Subsequently, the artists believed that the two writers took copies of their work. And to be specific, the couple asserted their work to have the subject of an artist who paints the future, which included the destruction of two landmark buildings in New York City. This “purportedly” had a very striking semblance to Heroes’ Isaac Mendez.

MAYBE THIS BLOG SHOULD GO BACK TO THE FEDERAL COURT WHERE THE LAWSUIT WAS FILED BY THE NYC UNDERGROUND ARTIST NAMED EELE. I THINK THE EXHIBITS FILED WILL DEMONSTATE THAT TIM KRING DID INDEED STEAL EELE'S ART WORK.

I HAD THE GOOD LUCK TO SEE EELE AT HIS HUNTER COLLEGE FILM SCREENING AND ART EXHIBIT ON APRIL 22, 2005. EELE TOLD EVERYONE AT THE SHOW HOW HE AND HIS TWIN AMNAU LEFT TEXAS WITH A PAINTING CALLED THE ATTA PAGE TO STOP 9-11-01 BEFORE IT HAPPENED.( SOUNDS LIKE HIRO ) WHEN THEY GOT TO NYC BEFORE 9-11-01 THEY BEGIN TO SHOW THE ATTA PAGE THROUGHTOUT NYC. THEY EVEN SENT A COPY OF THE ATTA PAGE TO TRIBECA FILM PRODUCTIONS OWNED BY ROBERT DENIRO.

JANE ROSENTHAL, ROBERT DENIRO'S PARTNER PUT THE ATTA PAGE IN DEVELOPMENT AS A FILM IDEA. A FEW WEEKS LATER ON MARCH 26,2001 JANE ROSENTHAL SENT THE ATTA PAGE BACK TO EELE WITH A LETTER STATING THAT EELE'S 9-11-01 INFO AND THE ATTA PAGE DID NOT FIT INTO TRIBECA'S DEVELOPMENT PLANS. EELE HELD ON TO THIS LETTER AND MADE A 15 MINUTE SHORT
