Love Notes: Keeping it in the Family

Heroes doesn’t have too much in the way of romantic storylines. It’s more about action and less about finding romance. It’d be interesting to see a character with some sort of romantic power. While that might not ever happen due to the cheese factor, there is one relationship that seemed to have potential. Claire and Peter connected during their first meeting when he went to save her from Sylar. After that, I thought that maybe they had the potential to be the first Heroes couple.

If Claire is still in highschool she is underage, so it would not happen, the network would not even imply such due to the inappropriateness of it. If there is a connection it's a familial type bond. Peter is empathic, so he forms a connection with many, empathy is not romance and romance does not have to be the connecting factor in relationships between strangers or new friends regardless of whether they are differing sexes or not.

I don't think networks are that concerned with being inappropriate. I mean, Family Guy made it back on the air for pete's sake!
