Ensemble cast, serialized story-line, plot twists galore, sounds a little bit like LOST except for one thing: itâ?Ts starting...

eh, I saw a few episodes of Heroes and it really didn't grab me but I'm a big fan of Lost and Prison Break. For me Lost may have crazy plots but it's also rich in character. I mean every week you're learning something about the character even if it's enforcing something we already knew. Heroes for me is a lot more plot orientend then character. So I would have to argue Heroes does have to center around character and not this thing that it's all been planned or whatever. Time will tell if it stays succesful.

Unfortunately Heroes lacks two major things which lost has. An ensemble cast where every character is top notch and likeable, and good writing.

Heroes writing > Lost "writing", tyvm.

Lost "writing" is more like swirling around plot devices in a hat then pulling them out at random and trying to prepare them to fit in the last season.

In heroes, when asked to go open to the world by Simone, the older Petrelli says, "no, we would just be taken to an island in the middle of the ocean and experimented on, at least that's what I would do". Coincidence?
