Heroes: Episode 2.3 "Kindred" Recap - Page 3

First off, that wasn't the Caitlin's tattoo of the 'godsend' symbol, that was Pete's tattoo that changed into the symbol, then healed itself. I think it could be a hint that he absorbed more from Niki/Jessica than just the superstrength. He was just talking about how he felt like he could have killed him easily and had a crisis of who he actually was. Also, something I haven't seen anyone say yet: blonde girl in the 8th painting could easily be Niki. The company does want her to do something for them. Maybe it's find Noah and Clair and take care of them. Although, with the skirt that the girl was wearing, it seems indicative that it is Claire, but with this show you never really know until it airs.

I don't think Candice/Michelle is really dead. I think the whole Sylar killing her was just an illution she was creating to begin with. She has always come off as too smart be alone defenseless in a room with a unrestrained and known homicidal maniac, but that's just my opinion. It would also explain why he didn't get her powers after he did his little brain trick. I think he'll get her eventually but the way that it looks like he did just came off as way too easy to me.

The fact that she turned into her true self implies that she's really dead to me. Last season, when she was knocked out by Niki, I was totally confused why she didn't revert back into her "larger" self. Instead she remained on the floor passed out in the form of Candace. My thinking was that if she's unconscious, she wouldn't be able to use her powers (unless it was like Peter's absorption powers where they occur naturally). Anyways, I let go of that. So with Sylar even saying "this is what you really look like," makes it seems as she should really be dead. Before he said that I really thought it was an illusion she was creating.

Hi lads,
I am really enjoying the new season today episode was very good but as an Irish man I have to wonder! Did they even speak to an Irish person before filming?

1. Most Irish people will call football soccer, because we have our only kind of football e.g. GAA.
2. Most security men will not have guns. Most of our cops do not have guns; we have an unarmed police forces so it is highly un-lightly that security men will have guns, when our police do not.
3. I have to say the accents are very bad the girl’s accent is not bad but it is more Belfast than Cork and yes there is a different.
4. They have to be the worst pints of Guinness I have ever seen. The heads on a pint of Guinness is about half an inch. If that is the kind of pint you get in the US you don’t know what you are missing.

I hate to be the one to talk !@#!@ about Heroes, I love the show, but my major problem right now is that I could give a !@#!@ about Hiro or Claire at this point, and the whole Peter's box thing is rediculous, get on with it, I want the petrelli's back together, I want to know who killed Hiro's dad, and I want more Sylar, if I see one more Claire love story episode, I'm gonna puke, get on with the story, this isn't like season one at all, they set up the story by episode two, this is a mish mosh of complete bull!@#!@, by the way kill Micah, the actor sucks, the girl who plays molly is incredible for her age and then I gotta see this dork, please. At least the trailer for next week looks good, because the last 3 weeks have been a snore, I can recap it for anyone in 5 minutes, and it's been 3 hours of storytelling so far. Step it up writers because you suck right now.

well it was always going to be hard to top the first three episode in season 1. claire story is crap but who cares she is a good lucking bird.

i think Candice's ((now Sylar's)) power only make everyone else see the illusion, but he still sees things the way they are. im soo sick of seeing Claire!! Hiro's plot is rediculously boring this season, & Peter's plotline is sooo unoriginal! i mean, how many time have we seen characters suffering amnesia..Jason Bourne anyone?? *sigh*

Thanks to the guy who corrected my tattoo mistake. The intertwined arms confused me (plus, Milo's skin is smooth like a chick's). Too bad, because the idea that Caitlin is somehow involved in this larger conspiracy was the only intriguing part about this Irish storyline.

Another problem with the Irish heist scenes was that Peter said he wanted his two hundered dollars back. They don't use dollars in Ireland.

They used to use the pound (hence the `quid' reference in the last episode) and now they use the Euro as the national currency.
