Heroes: Episode 2.2 "Lizards" Post Game Analysis

The fast ratings numbers might have Heroes in third place, but fans are gushing over the powerful, albeit imperfect, return to form for the genetically enhanced drama. Despite lower over-all numbers, early indicators are that Heroes dominated the desirable 18-49 adult demo for the entire night. But who cares about numbers, let's taker a look at the story.

I don't have a problem with the Godsend symbol meaning death, since it's been clear that the symbol has multiple meanings. Adding one more doesn't undermine any of the others. -sa@bonasi.com

I think the show is doing really good, screw the rating and Dancing with the Stars. I think Claire is being dumb, but she's a teenager so I will forgive her. The reunion was awesome and pumped my fist up into the air in excitement. Peter is awesome, though I hope he gets back with the other heroes soon. I saw the Hiro thing a mile away too, but that didn't make it any less awesome. He sooo loves the swordsmith's daughter, its adorable!

As someone who has never watched Heroes, I would encourage the fans not to have any fear. Heroes was the most popular new show last year and it will certainly stick around. People got into a fury over Lost's ratings numbers, but those are just the people with an axe to grind or just like to try and bring shows down. I think the Heroes creators have done the right thing and just go on with the story they want to.

don't count your chickens before they hatch. something tells me that hiro isn't going to turn out to be kensai, if only because we are all assuming that's what will happen. remember the dragon story where he's like..."take my heart, my love is in here" kensai could survive that, hiro definitely could not.

my money's on kensai to be the real kensai.

oh, and kristen bell definitely did not kill kaito, she's just some young character. it was definitely one of the old guard who killed kaito and attacked angela...my money's on parkman's dad.

Love this show. Love all of the actors on it. But I'm floored that anyone could actually call Milo Ventimiglia the best actor on the show. With all due respect, several of his co-stars - most often Jack Coleman and Adrian Pasdar - act circles around him on a regular basis. Milo's great, but clearly not the virtuoso of the cast IMO. He's got great chemistry with the other characters but I can't think of him as a genius actor unless genius means damn hot with his shirt off.

I quit watching aways into the first season because I watch it on my laptop at the gym and it seemed a bit too gory for public display. Now it is looking so good I wish I was up on the story

I may have to buy the dvds..

abilities evolve, you can see that by comparing the future episodes from s1 to the other episodes, i.e. parkman is much better at reading minds as his future self, as he is now.
So maybe as the telekinesis evolves, it get more powerful and energy needs to go somewhere or whatever ... seems believable

It's a new power that Peter picked up 4 months ago. Also, the 'Godsend' symbol is for 'special' people. The BEST actor is Zachary Quinto.. 'Sylar' was supposed to die in the 1st season and is now a 'regular' on the show and we're into season 2.. because of Mr. Quinto's characterization of a villain that people believe can be 'saved'..since he was introduced as Gabriel, the Watchmaker's son.
