Peter needs his powers back?

Im sure im not the only one who thinks that Peter really needs his powers back. He was one of my most loved characters until they got rid of his powers with the seemingly pointless appearance of his father. Hopefully he absorbed all of sylars powers when he touched him including the original empath ability but he probably just absorbed shapeshifting

. Does anyone think it is possible that his current ability will develope into his old power or is he stuck with touching people to absorb a single power at a time? Is there any other way anyone can think of that will give Peter his old powers back because it was far better when he was able to at least challenge Sylar.

No he doesn't. What you are purposing will lead us back to the same problem of him being too strong and such. He really is boring either way as he is a generic, forgettable character...

i disagree, id love to see him have his original powers back, this "one power at a time" deal is pissing me off, he used to be my favorite hero, but now it's kinda boring since he can only hold one at a time. i do however, think he will get his powers back eventually, im not 100%, but i think he will because in the future world he had all his powers, even though that was mostly just season one, and hacing to do with sylar as the bad guy, sylar's re emerging in the new season, so i hope that's a clue that his powers will come back eventually.

So I'm seriously the only one who likes one-power Peter? I loved the episode where HRG asks him for his help catching speedy gonzalez and he said he did it for the new power, i thought that was awesome. video-game-esque side quest to help further his life-saving capability... how do you not appreciate that?

But the future has changed. This hasn't proven to be a show where the future stays the same. It is uncertain that Peter will get his powesr back. I would be happy either way. I like how the writers utilize Peter's ablitly now, but I also love him when his is powerful

i think he will probably have all the powers he emerged. previous episodes he has a scar on his face normally he shouldn't got some scar like this with the ability of claire. there should be some incident about his face and after that he could regain the powers he forgot. also at the start he was thinking he only have the abilities near to him
