Another thing going for both Adam and Elle was they were played by 2 actors who had been wildly popular in their previous series which had been recently concluded/canceled.

I didn't want to like Elle but she has grown on me. Adam is definitely the best new character. I loved David Anders in Alias and love him here. Funny that he has an English accent in both but he's American. Maya I'm with the majority. I thought when she was introduced she would be the cause of the virus but since she isn't I have no use for her.

Don't worry Cherry, I can assure you that my desire to see Maya bite the dust is all in good humor. She's just a character on a TV show, therefore hating her is okay!

Please bear in mind that the new characters would have worked out very differently over 23 episodes. Whoever you blame for the writer's strike (I blame greedy overpaid execs trying to subvert copyright laws that have worked just fine since Henry VIII) it has had a big impact on Season 2 "Generations". I imagine we would have seen more fleshing out of the intergenerational connections between characters that would have bound the season together much better.

You completely forgot about Peters new chick and Bob... i realize they dont have powers, but they were still central new characters, for a time at least.

I absolutely love Elle and I enjoy Adam, so they're my favorite newbies. Maya's story line was definitely repetitive, but I think the character has a lot of potential and I think Dania Ramirez is great, so I'm open to her being around. I hate Monica's accent and I feel more like I'm *supposed* to like a lot more than I actually like her as I also find her boring. I'm never interested enough in her to care what she does next. I hate West, but as love interests goe, Caitlyn's not too bad.

Elle is cooll because she's a sociopath. Adam is awesome. I like Maya's accent but not much else. West.. well, personally I liked his creepy stalker tendancies, but once he lost those he was boring.

I hate, positively HATE, Maya. I hate her !@#!@y attitude. SYLAR NEEDS TO KILL HER! Elle has that awesome "i'm a !@#!@, I know it, deal." attitude. Adam ROCKS! He needs to come back. I LOVE SYLAR! I know he's not new, but still. Aljiando needs to stay dead. West completely creeps me out. Caitlyn is pretty cool. Monica...I never liked her, partly because she hung out with the little kid and Nicki, and I didn't like those two charactors. Her power is really cool though. BRING BACK ELLE, ADAM, AND SYLAR!

I liked the intro of Elle and West (to a lesser extent) but the Wonder twins were brought in rather poorly if you ask me. The whole ordeal with Maya freaking out and killing people, Alejandro calming her down, rinse, repeat, was incredibly annoying. I really hope that Sylar gets his hands on her again and finishes the job this time. She adds absolutely nothing to the story besides being a possible love interest for Mohinder. He can do much better

. I would like them to introduce more people with abilities from Mohinder's map or perhaps even have more 'detainees' escape from the company.
