Peter is a tool...

...an amazingly cool tool but still a tool in many aspects (as far as I'm concerned with this "season"!)
Ok, I do admit that he has amazing powers and I am a fan of his awesomeness

when he does have the balls to use them effectively!
But after reflecting on his progress from season one to now, you'd think he'd have developed a little more common sense in addition to all those abilities.
I know that he spent a long time having male bonding time with Adam before their jail break but I expected Peter to listen to Hiro a few seconds more instead of knocking him out, especially if Hiro could've told Pete about what he saw with the interaction between Victoria Pratt and Kaito in the past (when Adam tried to release the virus the first time)...

These are just my two cents, probably a lot of my annoyance with Peter and the show in general has to do with mismanagement of the season over all...well hoping for a speedy end to this writer's strike!

Would be nice to actually see the episode you guys are talking about, as far as i know over here in Australia our season 2 ended with the episode "Cautionary Tales"
only wrapping up HRG and the paintings story arch.

Peter is a bit of a tool but you can't blame him for his devlopment in season 2 his memory lose was a major factor and his love for Nathan and the fact that Adam saved him, would almost compel Peter to do anything.

Wow really? your missing "truth and sonsequences" and the finale "powerless". thats a real shame if it ended with "cautionary tales".

i totally agree that peter is a tool why didnt he just read adams mind or something? his powers are awesome but he doesnt use them to his advantage. sometimes i feel like he doesn't deserve them. hes such a retard righ now. he didnt listen to hiro for even 5 secs before electrocuting him a flinging him against the wall. it was so pathetic.

i don't perceive peter as being that much of a good guy. obviously he's not evil, but as much as authors of the show in their interviews praise him as the sensitive and compassionate guy, except at the begining he doesn't show much of those charactetistics. later i see him as arrogant and anxious.

If Peter was not so naive and "toolish" then he would probably end up like Sylar. His abilities make him the second most powerful (I say second because The Haitian can cancel out anyones powers making them normal and he can probably kick any of their asses fist to fist) but without that naivety he could basically be the only Hero and do it all or become evil like Sylar.
