Sylars abilities? - Page 2

IMO, in order for Sylar to get a new power, he needs to first see the power at work and then he takes a look at the still fresh brain and understands how it works, he then copies the electric flux of that brain and he reproduces the power.

in order for Peter to get a new power, he doesn't need to actually see the power, all he has to do is think about how that person make him feel and he can copy their power. He can't copy the power of someone he hasn't met because he has no idea how they would make him feel.

I think his mother has the ability to make people do stuff by telling them what to do and then touching their arm.

Charles Devault had the future dreams ability and that is where Peter got that power from and that's why Charles can interact with him when Peter has a flashback of Charles and his mother talking.

i think his mums power is much better then that. well it better be anyway other wise im going to be very annoyed.

and i like the charles idea. would explain peters dreams at the very begin of season 1.

Yea I aggree that his mom's power must be better than that but I think that's one of the facets of her power. She also seems to have some great brain power because she was able to resist Matt for a long time before she cracked.
