for not wanting to go after "the boogie man" after molly was brave enough to face him and get hurt after he asked her to

I don't agree. He wanted to go after his dad, thats why he asked Molly to look for her even though he knew who she was. Him not wanting to go had nothing to do with him being a coward and everything to do with his worry for Molly and not wanting to leave her in the state she was in. He felt guilty and responsible for her. And in the end he went and he faced his father. Maybe he didn't win, be it took a lot of guys to go there in the first place so no, I don't think he's a coward.

I disagree as well...considering what happened to Molly just by THINKING about Matt's dad, how can you blame him for being hesitant? It's not that he didn't want to go and find him...he didn't want to run in without knowing what he was up against.

i don't think so. do you remember that when matt go after boogeyman on session 1 and want to shoot sylar but he failed. on session two he goto after his dad and fight with himself to fight on deep his heart. he very cool when he fight with his dad.
