| I was thinking about this, but is it possible Linderman is the future Sylar come back? I realise it may mince your head up trying to get around it all but it was just a thought. |

| I think its very unlikely linderman is the future sylar because through out heroes we see something very important, that is when ever someone die they are DEAD, i know your thinking 'obviously' but i mean it in the sense that when ever a 'heroe' is killed they tend to get killed via the head i.e. isaac mendez, the women who had super hearing, the guy who could turn solid to liquid etc so if we cast our mind back to linderman we see that his head was smash from the back by mika's dad therefore i feel that linderman is a 'GONER' unless he can heel himself like he did Nathans wife....that would defeat the object because claire is the only one with healing power so we have SO FAR seen...good point though |

| I'm pretty definitely sure that Linderman isn't a future version of Sylar. I do however think that Linderman is the future version of Takezo Kensei. Think about it for a moment; They have the same power, which functionally makes Kensei immortal. They're both British and both possess the same sword. Not only that, but the helix symbol on the sword that becomes the symbol for Linderman's group of heroes (when they were younger) is a pretty large coincidence. (so, it must have been planned) This also puts a real spin on why Linderman is so knowledgeable and worldly. |

| Uh...Linderman is Linderman...he's not Sylar, he's not Kensei...I know people come up with some wild theories but that's not plausible in any way. Linderman had the ability to heal other living organisms and not himself. Kensei can regenerate. Sylar has multiple abilities and is an American. I'm not sure why people would even assume that they've got any relation to each other...not trying to come off rude, it's just...??? I don't see where those speculations could even come from. Linderman was one of the original 12 that they're tackling this season. He served a purpose only in S1 as the high-up villain behind the company. His run in the show is over. He's now dead as a doornail, along with Charles, Kaito, etc. Kensei is an entirely different character who will appear in the present day as HIMSELF (same actor).

| Agree with gingerkid. It's very reasonable. Linderman and sylar are quite different, if they're not similar nor involved or Linderman would very care for Sylar but he did not. Obviously he's not Kensei either, why Linderman must be one of them? He presented in Season 1 as a wire-puller, that's all. |

| Senior Member | I reckon Mark graf could be right with Linderman being Kensei. Just for the fact that Parkman's dad said something about evolving the powers. and adapting them. It's very possible one could go from healing themselves to healing others. But who really knows, it's all too confusing.

| Cell regeneration and healing others are entirely different things. Think of Claire like a Lizard, (ie the name of the s2 second episode) I doubt the regeneration power would evolve to healing others. It's silly to think so. I like the idea that Linderman is Kensei but think it's wrong. He could, however, be Kensei's son? Did anyone think of that? That's why he's british and also why he's got the sword, he inherited it off his father. Technically Kensei is a few hundred years older than Linderman, whether or not he looks it. Heroes loves the idea of interconnecting familes and people, I like this idea of the Linderman/Kensei relationship. This also explains how Kato Nakamora knew one of his family members would inherit great powers, but didn't know who, Linderman told him as he knew Kensei's story and Kensei knows Hiro. Any thoughts? |
