| Last week on Hell's Kitchen, things went terribly wrong for Matt when he accidentally sliced the top of his finger off. Despite the fact that he may have mixed it in with some sizzling pancetta, this still wasn't enough for Chef Gordon Ramsay to send him home. Instead, Ramsay decided to finally get rid of the dead weight known as Rosann. The amateur cook had been screwing things up for weeks, but Ramsay finally had enough when she ran out of both carrot puree and gnocchi during a busy dinner service.Tonight's episode of Hell's Kitchen not only features a wacky culinary relay race, but also an elimination that is shocking even by this show's standards. | Don, your statement that Petrozza was chosen "best of the worst" is not validated by what I saw. I saw Gordon Ramsay chose Petrozza not because he was the best (Bobby clearly was), but because Petrozza has honed the reputation of being the last honest man, the only non-political player on the Blue team. He knew Petrozza would call it straight and that is why he took the unprecedented step of asking ppppPetrozza for his recommendation on the final decision, not jsut the nominees for elimination. He accepted Petrozza's recommendation of Louross because it was the right decision. Also, and this is pretty trivial, I hard Ramsay say "bay leaf" left out of the Blue team chicken dish in the relay challenge, but it could have been "baby leeks" as you indicated. |

| Hey, thanks for keeping me on my toes apskip. Maybe Ramsay did say "bay leaf," I'm not sure. Also, though I believe Ramsay referred to Petrozza as the best of the worst, I totally agree with you regarding his stature as the last honest member of the team. If he wasn't a stand up guy, he would have thrown Bobby under the bus for being tough competition. |

| I had to watch it on tape and I got both "best of the worst" and baby leeks myself. |
