Grey's Anatomy: Season Finale Date Announced

Today, ABC announced that Grey’s Anatomy would receive an extra hour of programming this season, with a two hour season finale. The season four finale will air on Thursday, May 22nd from 9-11pm ET. That episode will pre-empt Lost, which will return the following week for its own two hour season finale. Grey’s Anatomy received 17 hours of programming this season while Lost received 14. Both shows were affected by the Writers Guild of America strike, which lasted from November of 2007 to February of 2008.

i am so excited it's coming back. i hope the show returns more to what made it great. i feel like things got a little weird this season & didn't do it for me as much as say ... season 2. i still can't wait though.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope George and Izzie get together!!!!!!!! I hope Rose leaves I hate her!!!!!!!! I heard that Meredith and Derek are getting together for good which doesn't make sense since he was making out with Rose in the commercial. Well anyway I am just relieved that there are only 9 days until the new episode.

I want Gizzie back too but not sure we will get it yet, Shonda has picked the haters side, which makes me amd as there are so many people who love Gizzie too and we have been waiting forever. Well I am not giving up, one day she will listen to reason

I think that George and Izzie should be together. People don't like them because when they got together it was shocking and I think that people just need to get used to the idea.

I wouldn't say people don'ty like them, the poll on them here is 50-50 and on a recent Australian poll, they won favorite Grey couple of all time with a whopping 50% of the vote. It is more like 50-50, with the 50% who love them really really loving them as in watching just for them and the 50% who hate them really really hating them, few people are indifferent.

But I think a lot of people who hate them do because they don't find George attractive enough and that shallowness bugs me.

Gizzie has one HUGE fanbase out there and we never get any recognition at all

i'm sooooo excited about Grey's coming back!! i really, really, really x 1000 hope that Izzie and George STOP w/ this whole peice of crap they've been doing. i think that it's incredibly wrong and George is so wrong to have left Callie. he may THINK he's in love w/ Izzie, but he's probably not. he's probably just scared about Callie wanting to have a baby and all the marrital things that come along with that. but, on another note, i think Derek is making a good choice w/ Rose. Meredith is too uncommitted. theyre always going between "oh, i can't live w/o u", or "i can't live w/ u anymore". it's sooo confusing!! i also think that it is sooo cool that Addison is coming back for a while, though i wish she would stay. i can't believe there's only 5 more episodes till the season finale. i was sooo bored on thursday nights during the writers strike. i'm sooo happy!! : ) : )

I want George and Izzie together. Shonda and the writers have all said George and Izzie are truly in love and they are the ones writing this show. I love how the non-Gizzie fans ignore what the writers have been telling them. Look at the way George watches Izzie when she is watching Hannah in 3.20, if that is not true love, I don't know what is.

The only thing wrionng is that he married Callie in the first place, he never should have.

Izzie and he are soulmates and have true love, it is wrong they are not together.

Callie should find someone who loves her.
