'Grey's Anatomy' to Resume Production in March - Page 4

No, george and Izzie are written in love, as real love, something Izzie acknowledged in the last episode, the I did not even realize I was in love with him until that day. Shonda has said numerous times they were truly in love, could not live without each other and were each other's person, she also said Alex's feelings for Izzie were totally one-sided after episode 4.4. And talking about voice-over, who can forget Meredith's vo when george says I love you too to Izzie, sometimes change is good sometimes change is everything.
As for episode 4.7, Gizzie were that couple, the married one, who loved each other more than anything but needed a break because they ahd too much baggage, the signs were pretty obvious.
All A and I have sex, G and I have love and as Katie says, being around George brings Izzie pure joy, do you think you could say the same for Alex, does she light up just looking at him?

Alex and Izzie are the second best couple on the show!! i loved them almost as much as denny and izzie in season 2....but the all time best couple is merder.....and the worst is gizzie.....ugh.....the grosest most awkward realtionship out!! if u ask me.....i think they were dead before they started....sure they had hot sex once.....but that was it.......now i just feel awkward watching them.....im soooo glad that grey's is coming back!! YAY!! =D fingers crossed for merder......xxx

I'm so excited!! I hope Alex and Izzie get back together!! I miss them!! THAT'S when the show was good, when those two were sweet on each other. When she and George got together, it got lame and I became completely disinterested! They were the most disturbing couple the show ever tried. I know so many people who stopped watching, because it just got stupid, and all full of borng drama and they had NO chemistry. They're like brother and sister. Blech. But Alex and Izzie... they, by their very characters' natures, are meant to be. She is his opposite and the only person who makes him want to be a better man, and she brings out the good in him, and she actually used to smile way back when, when she was hanging around Alex and they were together. They were cute. They laughed, when it wasn't all dramz and stupid, dying heart patients. LOL. I liked her better with Alex. Much better. Him, too, when he's with her.

I just really hope Alex fights for Izzie this time.

I am the o^pposite. All my friends and I watch for George and Izzie and George and Izzie only and if they are done for good and they go back to that horrid excuse for a love story that is Alex and Izzie, we will stop watching for good. I hate those two. Izzie brought out the worst in Alex, hello Denny? He treated Denny and her terribly just because he was jealous and acted like he wanted Denny to die. Plus, Izzie only used him when she needed sex. Sure she was smiling, he was giving her hot sex when she did not want anything more. But did he ever make her smile the way she did in the second episode this season after George told her he loved her too? She was radiant and glowing, I have never seen her that happy, or smile the way she did at George when they were on that bench in episode 5. Katherine said it herself, Izzie has never been happier with anyone more than George and that is why she wants them togetehr. He makes her glow, Alex never did. When they were happy, nobody made Izzie

I use to like Alex and Izzie, but then the sex got boring and truthfully while they do have some chemistry, they don't have enough to make a totally sexual relationship. There was always something missing there and never knew what it was until I saw george and Izzie together and how Izzie reacted to George. he just transfigures her, he makes her totally light up like a Christmas tree, not even Denny could do that, and she looks at him like he is the most beautiful, perfect person on Earth, but then she did tell Mer he was great, sweet, sexy and perfect, loved it. She is so in love with him and so happy with him in a way Alex never made her feel, Alex was purely sexual for her. As for the bad sex thing, in the podcast Shonda said it is not that they are bad in bed together, it is the baggage they have that is tripping them up. We know that is the case because they could not even kiss in that episode and we know they can because o that hot hot hot kiss in the elevator. They had super sex

I think (as stated in the last episode) that Izzie brightens up Alex. We have seen him numerous times open up to Izzie about his past. In the season season when the abused boy had to sign papers to give his dad his lkidney, another episode (3.11) when Alex was the only one to give Izzie a chance, to bend the rules a bit so she could have some confidence in herself. He was the only one who was there for her at that time. George insulted her and hit her with a low blow when he was supposed to be her best friend when he told his parents that she "almost killed a man".

I'm not saying it was right how Alex treated the whole Denny and Izzie situation, but you go into this series knowing that Alex isn't a perfect character that he has past demons that he has yet to deal with yet. He has good intentions but they get muddled by his ego. The other person his wall is broken down for is Izzie. When Izzie was distraught over Denny's death he stepped up and supported her, consoled her. This is someone who knew what he did was wrong and was apologizing (not everything has to be verbal with Alex and Izzie - they rely on looks through a lot of their scenes).

Going back to (3.11) Alex let his guard down yet again when he kissed Izzie in the stairwell after she had hurt him with Denny. This show's a lot of growth with this character. He later even apologized in this episode at the bar. Again, the Alex from season 1 wouldn't have done that. The reason why I like Alex and Izzie is that he changes through her and because of her regardless whether they are together

Finally, in the last episode that was aired it is Izzie that comes to him and reveals to him about her own insecurities. She found the comfort in him just listening to her. This was also seen in the kitchen scene of (3.1

, she was vulnerable and asked him when she was going to get over Denny, if she was ever going to get over Denny and he was there for some advice.

It has been stated over and over that Izzie has changed Alex. And in my opinion Izzie tends to open up with Alex. He gives her a bigger insight about how the world isn't either black or white, because Alex is a very complex person. Again, I have my opinions, and you have yours. Please let me state my opinions and let the A/I supporters have their own opinions as well. I'm not on a witness stand here, I'm just stating my opinion. Hope this reply helped.

George was worried sick over his dad and Izzie understood, which is why she forgave him right away,k which is what you do when you love someone. Alex has done a lot more bad things to her. How easy was it for him to be there for her AFTER Denny had died, when he was not an obstacle anymore. He treated both Denny and Izzie like dirt when Denny was alive and a threat. Then when she cut the LVAD wire and everyone stepped up for her, Alex wanted to let her hang. Then this season he judged ehr for her affair, then embarked on an affair of his own, the difference wa she loves George, with him and Ava, it was just sex yet he never apologized for judging her and treating her like dirt. And he looked down on George just because he does not think george is hot enough to have girls fall for him. The O'Malley comment made me loathe him so much. Yes, Alex has been there a few times for Izzie, but George has been there ALL the time for Izzie.
