Grey's Anatomy Star Says "Last Season was Boring to Do"

Recently on Grey's Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey's Derek locked lips with Nurse Rose (Lauren Stamile). While this means more trouble for his already unstable relationship with Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Dempsey is actually happy about the development, saying that he feels “encouraged” that someone new has come into to his character's life.

"It will make the storylines more interesting and compelling,” Dempsey told the New York Post. “Last season was boring to do. Enough is enough already. It's time for the writers to go back and take a look at things and find some new paths for these characters. It was too repetitive for me."

You gotta be kidding me. This article came out in November (NOVEMBER) It was written by the NY Post which is a tabloid paper and they don't even interview PD for it. He's not even directly quoted here. If you are going to put up an article on Dempsey, can you get one that came out recently and one that's not from a tabloid as I think we'd all rather make comments on something Dempsey said based in fact and not made up by a rag paper. What's up BuddyTV?

I am so sick of celebritys complaining about these roles that are making them famous. It's selfish, and distasteful.

Patrick has been rubbing me the wrong way for a long while now.

I feel this is a great show but it would be a pity if Mererith and Derek split thought the drowning scene would nail it

When an actor starts talking like that its their way of seeing the exit door , or asking for more money....or they walk to make big movies on the big screen...and you cant blame them because making a movie might take 3 months then you get a big , big pay check and you can then spent like 5 months home with family and or go on vacation. In a series its more like work all year with like 2 or 3 months off.

Wow, you know... Shonda certainly has an outspoke bunch on her hands. Last time I checked, Patrick Dempsey should be kissing the ground she walks on since he would otherwise be remembered in the 80s Movies Hall of Fame.

What do you expect? They all have a right to complain. They are the ones, apart from the writers who I fully support, that play the character. As a Grey's Anatomy fan, I have to agree with Dempsey the storylines that are being created are running a bit redundant. We get it, Meredith has commitment issues, and Derek is an huge romantic. Although drama is great, too much can get repetitive, annoying and a bit suffocating for both the viewer and the actor. All of these characters have gotten themselves into ruts and its time for development on each of their parts.

Who cares about MerDer? Mer deserves much better anyway, she is my favorite. The only couple remotely care about is Gizzie, and Shonda better stop ruining them because I am not watching until she fixes my George and Izzie.

And yes I am upset about Patrick because he always act like Derek is some saint saddled with those bad bad women Meredith and Addison and if you ask me, he is not fit to lick the shoes of both these women.

Derek should beg her forgiveness.

And while I love and adore Gizzie more than any couple on TV, why are they in a poll about Merder?
