Grey's Anatomy: Episode 4.9 "Crash Into Me Part 1" Recap

Previously on Grey's Anatomy, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) had drinks with Halfrek (Kali Rocha), Mark (Eric Dane) liked Hahn (Brooke Smith), Cristina (Sandra Oh) thought Izzie (Katherine Heigl) wasn't hardcore enough for cardiothoracic surgery, George (T.R. Knight) and Izzie struggled with their relationship, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) became chief resident.

Happy Thanksgiving! Because of the holiday, I will be recapping this episode of Grey's Anatomy while mildly buzzed on glögg, a Swedish mulled wine with almonds and raisins. And vodka. You really can't forget the vodka.

I sick of Derek not sticking with the one he loves and Meredith not being able to get over her problems. Why doesn't she see a therapist? Also, I would love to see Mark with Izzie. On the whole, this show is going nowhere for me. How have any of the couples grown or resolved their issues at all in the last three and a half seasons? No wonder Patrick Dempsey complained about long days. The storylines seem to be going nowhere.

hay how sad was that i felt so sorry for lexie and meredith and christina and baliy they went through a hard day well happy thanksgiving i cant belive they are making us whait two weeks well by

Even though we all saw the burst artery coming, that was still shocking as hell. Poor Oz. I guess my "Ava is a ghost" theory is dead, but her appearance still makes no sense to me. I agree, Debbie: Chandra Wilson kicked ass again this week. She makes everyone else on this show look like hacks. It's also funny that Gale Harold, the actor playing the white supremacist, is most famous for playing a gay man on Queer as Folk. But I did love how they brought up the fact that interns call Bailey Nazi. As for Mer: of course, a woman is saying goodbye to her dying husband, and it's all about Meredith and the fact that she doesn't know this X-ray tech. She could be the least likable character on all of TV.

i loved this episode! i am quite annoyed that we have to wait two weeks though! i want the next episode now! the ending was such a cliff hanger. and i will hate derek forever if he is with that stupid rose. i hate her. she is so weird.

Why can't they put in a new guy in the show? Have some new McHottie for Meredith to flirt and sniff with in the elevator. We got Lexie, Hahn, and now looks like Rose will be in Seattle Grace too. No wonder the girls - Meredith, Christina, and Izzie are all twisted. No boys to inspire them!

I have to agree Abbey. The closest the show is coming in the near future is a guest starring arc from Joshusa Jackson, but...really? Sorry ladies, but Pacey was one fugly dude.
