'Grey's Anatomy' Star Weds Record Producer

Amidst the noise of the ongoing writers strike, Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo wed fiance Chris Ivery on Friday, November 9, at a brief ceremony performed at City Hall in Lower Manhattan.

The news was confirmed Wednesday by the actress' father, Joseph Pompeo, who told People magazine that he is “very happy for her,” and that “she just didn't want a big thing.”

I am very happy that Ellen finally got married after dating Chris Ivery for four years. Personally I am not extatic about him but I am happy as long as she is happy.
