Grey's Anatomy: Episode 4.7 "Physical Attraction... Chemical Reaction" Recap

Previously on Grey's Anatomy, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) walked in on Alex (Justin Chambers) and Lexie (Chyler Leigh) fooling around, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) are a team, Hahn (Brooke Smith) is the new head of cardiothoracic surgery, Richard (James T. Pickens) moves into a trailer next to Derek's (Patrick Demspey), Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and George (T.R. Knight) really wanted to have sex, but didn't.

Tonight's Grey's Anatomy begins with George and Izzie post-coitus. They are exhausted because it was evidently a very aerobic session of the sex. They get right back on the horse for round two. Derek and Meredith are also post-coitus in the trailer. She leaves to go, making Derek a very, very sad puppy dog.

Great recap! I like the way Meredith and Derek are trying to get back together again without pushing it so much just like in season 2. And I like the way the Izzie and George thing is turning sour. I never did like them together. I think the show jumped the shark with that one when they slept together.

I don't know if it's just me, but I really want to see a McSteamy/Hahn pairing. They seem like they would be good together. Or at the very least provide for some fun scenes.

Yah i totally agree about mcsteamy and hahn i think they would be perfect together. And im happy that mcsteamy and meredith are slowly getting back on the right track!

This may be a minor thing, but is anyone else annoyed by the way TV and movies deal with the covers on the bed post-sex. On the girl's side, it's all the way to the neck, but for the guys, it's down to the waist. I get why this is done practically, but is it realistic? Anyway, I was annoyed by Bailey's crying. That felt out of character. However, drunk Thatcher should provide some cool material for the future, though I'm against the idea of having both of Mer's parents die in successive seasons.

tired of george/izzy storyline. I think it will be fun to watch Sloane chase Hahn. I also am glad that Bailey finally got the chief resident position, even though I am a Callie fan.

I really hope that Hahn gives McSteamy a run for his money ... that would be so great to finally see him doing the chasing instead "all the women" chasing him.
