Grey's Anatomy: Why I Hate Gizzie

After last night's season 4 premiere of Grey's Anatomy, the most popular feud in all of television was rekindled: Gizzie, love them or hate them? For those few who don't know, Gizzie is the popular nickname attributed to the romantic pairing of George (T. R. Knight) and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) on the hit ABC series.



Seemingly out of the blue, they hooked up as part of a drunken mistake last season, which led to Izzie confessing her love for George. Well, Grey's Anatomy started its fourth season by reigniting that flame, ending with George professing his love for Izzie. For some viewers, this was a moment akin to the Jim-Pam kiss at the end of the second season of The Office. For others, it was as if Shonda Rhimes was flipping Gizzie haters the bird.

LOVE George/Izzie. Their fans do continue to be underestimated in terms of number. I know several who like them, none who don't.

Nothing personal because I love them as single characters, but together? GAWWWWWDDD..GIZZIE is so horrible. Fortunately, there's about 10 other characters I can watch to forget the fact my eyes start burning after watching them. I don't know what happened to George O'Malley the last season and now this one, but to the "evil twin" playing him, please return the cahracter back to us, because this new George?.ugh.

this is a joke right??? izzie never say denny was the love of her life.
to my the worst storyline was izzie/denny totally incredible. it was to fast and denny was not charming or anything like that, he just like to flirt with the pretty doctor. that was to me.
on the other hand george and izzie and george have history, they relationship have the base of fiendship. i saw them coming since second season. even when denny was in the picture.

but well everything is subjective

But Chris?? Are you kidding?? He is dead beat dad #1. Luke was Rorys dad, he did the dad stuff. geesssh. Money does not make you a dad nor does sperm.

And Dean....ick!! Jess or Logan were better for Rory.

I think that any result you get from this vote, it will be biased based on the fact alone that it is prefaced with an anti-Gizzie article, without any suppurt of why the other half does like the pairing. I am kind of disappointed...how about find someone to write a rebuttle that is just as passionate as you.
