Meredith GreyEverybody's favorite dysfunctional medical drama is back for a fourth season. Grey's Anatomy opens with a beautiful dawn rising over the Seattle skyline and, of course, the Space Needle. It is 17 days after Cristina Yang's disastrous wedding from last season's finale. Burke left her at the altar, so she and Meredith went to Hawaii on what was supposed to be Yang's and Burke's honeymoon. Alex took off in search of Ava, née Rebecca, and to grow a goatee. He didn't do a good job of either, however. He didn't see Rebecca, and the mustache of his goatee doesn't connect with the chin part. Izzie and George were the only ones who stayed at the hospital, but George managed to avoid Izzie the entire time.

I disagree about Gizzie and feel that it adds "something" to the show. Those two have had something together for a long time and George married Callie on an impulse and then recognized his mistake after. George, being the type of person that he is, is torn because of the values he was raised with, even though it was a terrible mistake marrying Callie. How can love between two people be so bad a thing if the marriage was bad to begin with? I'm not saying adultery is good. It's just that those two (Gizzie) were meant for each other. If any of the readers have followed or revisted Gre's from the start, you will see an know eaxactly what I am talking about and long before Callie.

Don't hat on Gizzie. They belong together for they always have been. Maybe not as a couple but as best friends, and when one finds true love does not noe do anything to keep it.

You're a horrible writer and you shouldn't give reviews.

Ha, my DVR cut out before George said "I love you," so I didn't know how awful the ending was until reading this. Meredith is terrible as ever, blowing off her awesome sister and hooking up with Derek...again. Gizzie is bad, but MerDer needs to die. I'll say this, the opening was beautiful in recreating the pilot, and this episode worked solidly as a new pilot in many ways. Izzie saving the deer and bashing her interns was cool, as was all of Alex and Cristina, who are so gonna hook up around November sweeps.

YAY, another "journalist" assuming Gizzie has no fans. Come on, look around, they have TONS of fans, they have very loyal, passionate fans who are glued to their TV sets every week for them. I realize for those who don't like them that it's not in their interests to acknowledge that, but it's the truth, they are not nearly as unpopular as they continue to be made out to be.

George and Izzie were my favourite part of last night's episode.
