“I am a lawyer,” were the immortal words of Tracy Morgan (as Star Jones) on Saturday Night Live's recurring spoofs of The View during the late-90s. And, so, years later, after Jones has been canned by ABC, married the black David Guest, and received the always disconcerting Gastric Bypass surgery, that quote is still the first thing to pop into my head each time I see Star Jones on television. Which, perhaps thankfully, isn't all that often. I say this because when it came to my attention that Star has her own new talk show on CourtTV I was taken off-guard. CourtTV has talk shows? And they have nothing to do with the law? Did they just rationalize it by saying that since Star is a lawyer (is she still a lawyer?) that it's OK?Anyway, her talk show debuts today and her first guest is the humorless walking controversy Isaiah Washington, former Grey's Anatomy star and current recurring character on Bionic Woman. The interview the two had has been leaked, for the most part, and not unpredictably, the subject went back to Washington's year of shame that stemmed from his unfortunate incident on the Grey's set where he yelled a homophobic slur at co-star T.R. Knight, which eventually led to Knight being publicly forced out of the closet. Whew, that was a long sentence. So, what did the two discuss in their interview? To read the rest, click here.

Uhm. Sorry. TR was the pussy in all of this. Regardless of what or what didn't happen, he's the one who played up the part of the victim. You !@#!@ers are so biased.

Who wrote this misinformed article? What a loser. I like T.R. and I like Isaiah, but I feel that TR is a bit too sensitive and decided to react to Isaiah's words that were directed at P. Dempsey. TR was on Ellen and he is quite a sensitive man. Isaiah was on Larry King live and told the whole story. There was leak to the press and the press took it from there and got it all screwed up. TR wanted to come out, that was his choice. And now a days...WHO CARES!? The press, now that's another story. They write articles like this one way too often. They get the facts wrong and blow everything out of porportion. Why don't they just try to write the truth for once? OH Yea, cuz the truth isn't all full of drama and someone getting hurt. Remember folks, if you weren't there to see for yourself, don't believe everything you read or hear, especially from the press.

No one knows the full story. The other guys have been more or less quiet and vague. But my question why does he (IW) feel he has to justify this and that if he didnt say it or didnt mean it that way. If he was wise he would have kept quite a long time ago. Methinks the man doth protest too much. He said it whether directed at TR or PD, and it was bad and thats that. He should learn too live with consenquences. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. So IW using that word shows what how he thinks in his sub-conscious mind.He was thinking it but not saying it. And then he said one thing too many.

okay lets say you have some kind of secret that you are not ready to let the world know maybe its your gay or you have cancer but you do tell someone and when they get pissed they use it against you and also tell the world now everyoen knows wouldnt that make you the victim? and frankly washington is an ass knight trusted him and he betryaed that trust so if we think thateveryone thinks that knight is the victim because he was betrayed then yes we are biased.

What a load of hogwash. Isaiah made a mistake, TR capitalized on it -whether out of revenge, or for publicity, or what, I don't know. Isaiah paid for his mistake publicly and privately, as requried by the network. That should have been that. He was a key character in the show, and I'm willing to bet that without him it will not be as good. They were all a great ensemble cast, now diminished. I think Isaiah paid, and that should have been enough. How much more can he apologise?! And which of us hasn't acted rashly, but how many of us have to pay such a price? Enough, for pete's sake!

Oh for goodness,s sake, how did TR capitaluze on this? He talked once, ONCE about it, and it was because Ellen asked him about it. If isaah had shut his mouth the night before, nothing would have happened. TR didn't seek Ellen out, this appearance was already schedule when IW opened his big mouth again. TR clearly didn't want to talk about this much and he never talked about it again. Isaah on the other hand has been talking about it non-stop and doling out contradictory stories ever few weeks. He is the one who is keeping this public. TR has not said a word against him or even talked when that jackass got fired even after Isaah accused him of all things. And BTW, TR always had a huge story on the show and his character always had more importance than Isaah. He was oen of the interns for goodness' sake and portrayed as the lovable guy you root for from episode 1. TR is a classy, sweet guy and I am tired of frustrated IW fans and homophobic idiots bashing him all the time.

Excuse me,'homophobic idiots',TR is a classy sweet guy. In my never to be humbled opinion, your making a huge leap here in reagrds to know T.R.Knight character. To put it simple,to make that assumption about his personality/character isn't exactly intellicually honest is it. I guess what i'm saying is unless your are a memeber of his family or a personal friend of his,i hardly think you can make that assertion a fact,eh
